What are the key adjustments when playing limit Omaha-8 with a half kill?

Really not much, you should raise some hands you normally wouldn't or might limp instead, especially out of the blinds

The biggest adjustment is in how we play hands in middle positions vs a late position kill, we might push some marginal ax hands because the extra money in the pot (and pressure on the blinds) allows us to play a wider range more profitably than we could normally

For me personally, one of the biggest adjustments was defending the kill. Especially when it is a full kill. When I started playing O8, I rarely defended my kill when raised. Depending on the table action and number of people in the kill pot, I will mostly defend my kill. I still require a premium hand to defend my kill against a 3 bet.

I did not defend enough kills partly due to my incorrectly sizing my buyin based on the normal bets. Depending on the game and how frequently the kill requirements are met, I will increase my buy in. While the game can't really control or predict the number of kills, a game where every pot is kill eligible should have quite a few kills.
