INDIANA:

Hollywood Lawrenceburg has a pretty regular $5/10 full kill LO8 that goes on Saturdays and perhaps Sundays. The game started at 13:00 on a Saturday the day i played. It has plenty of regulars so sign up by phone and get there early.

MICHIGAN
The Greektown $5/10 is still going strong on both Saturdays and Tuesdays. The Sat. regulars (including me!) did get sick of waking up to play before 6:00, so now it's starting more like 7:50. They tried to start a third day on Thursday but i don't think that took off.

Are you still playing $5/5 PLO8 at Lake Elsinore Casino on Wednesdays, and what time?

seems like a lot of 2+2 is concentrated in so cal. with the rake limit omaha 8 and plo8 don't make sense to play in a casino. so we should put together a 2+2 homegame. Maybe half 3/6 limit omaha 8 and half 1/2 plo8. IF we can get 5-6 people who are interested and just pick a time and place and run it, and see if it works out. I can host the game in Venice Ca, the first time if we can get 5-6 people. No rake, everyone deals, BYOB, but it would be a fun cash game, and even if there will be no pure fishies, at least the rake wont eat us alive. If people are interested post here, and we can set it in the next couple of weekends, but there is no reasons not to have a so-cal homegame.

I know the California rake is pretty outrageous, but i've been playing $5/10 FK in Detroit at 10% to $6 rake and i find it quite beatable. (Small sample alert!) I've only briefly played in the Bike's $6/12 LO8 but if memory serves, i'm pretty sure anyone who isn't beating that game or higher needs to work on their game.

Not to discourage a home game. I think home games are awesome, although i wouldn't play in one that was all good 2+2 regs except at tiny stakes.

On Oct 20th, a $350 buy-in tourney at the Horseshoe, Hammond (a WSOP circuit ring event). Limit Omaha 8.

I would love to play but I have a newborn and wife at home right now so evenings don't work for me yet, just daytime. Eventually if you get a PM game going i will be happy to join in on any of your O8 or mix games. Good luck!

In Blackhawk Colorado at the golden gates casino there is a fairly regular 5/10 full kill o8 on weekend nights, and recently it was getting going on thurs nights.

As of a month+ ago they were giving $5/hr comps for that game special.

I will prob play in that O8 in Hammond. Wish they had some PLO8 what is up w that?

Ill see ya there! Yea, no PLO8...they have it at many of the other venues...dont know why this one doesnt, I mean hell, we are the biggest stop on the tour.

I figured they would have one, I missed out on the Plo8 in Lawernceburg for the ISPC, They dont have plo8 in southern Indiana either. Hopefully St louis will. We need live PLO8!!!

Never seen or heard of any pure O8 games in Europe, would be interseted too. There are some places where you get plo8 or O8 as part of a mix (DC) though.

Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs has been running a 4/8 with half kill game somewhat frequently. I have been there a couple times each week on all different days and if I recall correctly they had a game running a few times.

PLO8 played in Bend, Oregon 4-6 nights a week. Single $5 blind. Min $100, No-max. No rake (due to city ordinance on social gaming).

There is a fairly regular 10/20 (full kill) game in Tulsa. Tues or Wed night at River Spirit, Fri night at Hard Rock, weekend afternoons at River Spirit.

Have played at Sands, Parx, Taj & Borgata.
Only Parx and Borgata go everyday and are a cut above the rest.
Taj is in free fall (not in a good way/gross and mismanaged room. Chip haven't been washed since the Nixon era).
Sands is nice room and I hope they get a regular O/8 game. Great management very interested in growing the O/8 game.
Borgata was O/E but players would get up and walk during Stud 8 so now it is just Omaha 8 (1/2 kill).
Parx also gets $15-$30 O/E going pretty often and H.O.E. $30-$60 going sometimes.

There are a lot of good nlo8/plo8/big o games in the portland area there is a good game 7 days a week around here, hit me up if u want details

The Parx game that goes daily is the OE. The 4/8 straight O8 game has been pretty inconsistent. Kind of strange that O8 rarely goes because I've heard several players in the OE game complain that they didn't want to play stud and I even saw a few players lobby during the entire E rounds.

Are there any O8 games being spread in Tunica currently?

4/8 HK was going into the night when i was there on Dec 30.

I may be in Vegas and/or SoCal soon. Best bets are still Venetian $8/16 FK and $15/30 TK (?); Bike $6/12 FK; Hollywood Park $20/40 OE mix -- is that right?
