Sorry if this is covered, but any advice on small-mid LO8 in LA? I really don't have much interest in playing lower than 8/16 or so and don't feel comfortable higher than 20/40. Totally fine playing HO, and I'll play OE or HOE in a pinch.

Commerce 8/16 LO8, I believe, though I don't know if that still goes. Might have been 6/12 with kill to 8/16. See Bravo.

Hollywood Park 20/40 OE with a complicated half-kill structure

I know of a couple games in the NY/PA area.

Turning Stone has a 5/10 half Omaha 8 with a kill and half stud 8 on Friday's that runs all day. Should get there early to get a sit.

Mohegan Sun Pocano has 4/8 half kill all day Saturday that turns to Big O when the game gets short handed.

A player there also told me about the 6/12 OE game at Parx, he said that runs almost all the time.

Tioga Downs in NY has a 4/8 half kill that usually runs all day on Sundays, but it never did get going yesterday for some reason.

Canterbury Park regularly has a 6/12 O8 Half-Kill (10/20).
They also include either O8, Big-O, or both in the 10/20 Mix (runs 2-3 times per week) and 40/80 mix (runs daily). The games in the mix are voted on by the players.

is there a list for online websites? sorry if this is only for live games.

The only live O8 game in Australia I am aware of is when Crown Melb runs a 1-2-5 (1k max) PLO8. Next best is the 40/80 Mix Game.
Online is down to unlicensed operators sites as of yesterday.

The Last Frontier in La Center, WA has had an 8/16 (with full kill) LO8 game running on Monday evenings for the last month +. Also a 4/8 w/ kill on Sundays.

There is a FL08 4-8 with a half kill game at the Grand Casino at Shawnee Oklahoma on Fridays. The game starts around noon to 1 pm. Also, they play 4-8 FL-BIGO8 with a half kill on Mondays starting around 1-2pm. The game is pretty loose with varying skill levels. The rake is 4-1 for the 4 card FL08 and 4-0 for the FL-BIGO8.

If you're simply listing games at a casino, I think they should go in this thread. We don't need a separate thread for every O8 game played somewhere. If you have commentary to add about how the game plays, your experience, etc., then I can see there being enough to warrant a separate thread/discussion.

20/40 half-kill game going every Saturday starting around 3 pm at the Muckleshoot casino in Auburn, WA. It turns into an OE game later if there are only regs playing but that hasn't happened for a few weeks. Don't know why I am posting this as the game has been great and we don't really need any of ya'll

Trying to get 4-8 O8/B game running at Rivers in Pittsburgh, PA at least 1 time per month. If anyone is interested please respond. Not sure if I posted in correct place. New to 2+2.

I would play 6/12 or bigger O8 once a month at Rivers or Meadows. I'm from out of town, but usually in the area once or twice a month for work.

Where is limit 08 played in Vegas anymore? Seems most of the games have moved to The Orleans only?

Borgata game. Was quite juicy this weekend.

Two 20-40 holdem players who don't really get Omaha sat. One won a bunch, one lost a bunch. They had good card sense, but made some weird isolation raises with bottom two pair with low draws available (that they didn't have) that aren't really profitable in Omaha.

Couple of very loose players played through the weekend. Some got skunked, some won a bunch of money.

Averaged $45 an hour, but was based on two hot hours out of 20 (two very hot hours!)

Game didn't go off today.

Only played with one moron (and by moron I mean jerk). And he only played a few hours.

I'll be back. The nits who walk for comp dollars (and only play A-2) seem to be gone. Jerky behavior has been cleaned up.

I would recommend the game if you are in AC. Sometimes goes Thursday, and every Friday and Saturday.

What limit? 20-40 or 10-20? Regardless of limit is it played with a kill?

Every Saturday afternoon (usually 3-4pm start time), 5-10 O8 limit game.

how the play and what else does that cardroom offer?

It's a very loose game, one of my favorites I've played in a while. Room also has a $1-5 Stud going Saturdays. And normal 1/2NL as well. Casino as a whole is terrible, but poker room is very well run all things considered. Great dealers.

i wouldnt say the casino is terrible, the BJ games still pay 3-2 and dont use continous shufflers.

I meant on aesthetics, I'm not a big bj player. Good to know though.

Iare the 1-2 games pretty loose on weekends?

1/2 Big O game every Friday, Saturday, Sunday (usually two tables) at Meadows in Portland, Oregon

20/40 still runs frequently at bellagio, just not as consistently as before.

Friday and Saturday: almost certain to have game during day and decent chance of it lasting until evening.
M-Th: daytime game goes unless business is very slow or competing 20 mix game is running. Usually runs around 11am-6pm
Sunday: rare (unless overnight from Saturday)
