Yeah sounds about right. Finally gonna mute you for all this drivel, coupled with the gross arrogance of "Oh I pay tax, so I have the right to say that I want to be able to see people's faces and that it's bad for a country otherwise, and I deserve to voice my opinion, scuse me if that opinion offends you" - type bollocks, especially for it in this thread. But I also agree that you two should either just get a room, stfu, or prop bet it out.

I'm locking this thread for a few days to a week to provide a cooling off period. Please don't move the mutual mud slinging to another thread in this forum.

I have been playing a lot of cash on stars the last week for the first time in a while.

I am really impressed with how much better the games have got with the minimum buy in increased makes them playable for me again.

One thing i struggle to understand is why players like ray918273 still buy in for min across 10 tables and play poor poker slowly. Surely it would be better to buy in ful at less tables and play better poker?

So what do you guys think of these 2 players:

1. Queen H/L
2. Phatlat

Is it just me or is Queen the CL at every $2R ever run?
Phatlat has played close to perfect in every game I've ever played with him, sample is small though

Also what think ye of Beeethoven87?

phatlat is better player in any 08 format than you'll ever be.

Beethoven87 is horribly way too aggro and terrible. He was on a massive heater for a while last year and couldn't seem to lose a hand but I suspect that's changed.

He would give a nit like you fits. I guess all LAG's would so that's not saying much.

Played with Beethoven the other night and he must have spewed away 5 buy-ins in about 30 minutes, very aggro but then againthere is a fine line between aggro and stupidity.

I've played quite a bit with beeethoven recently, mostly in rebuy sats and SnGs, and haven't won a single hand. I made 2 FTs of those $530 sats (out of about 200 attempts lol) and of course, beeethoven bust me on both with case outs. He seems to do well in the main MTTs though.

I heard one player say, "1016", from Malta, is a good player. Huge, huge fish IMO, with a brain the size of he who vouched for him

It loathes me to rexpond, but I used to play beethoven a lot hu a lot and he was ok. He must have improved since and people I rate say he is good at mtts these days. 1016 is another decent player from what I have heard. Obviously, they must be boss fish who run like jeesus to beat you though.

maybe he's tightened up since I remember but he used to be horribly laggy. He would be allin as often as possible pre with marginal hands and about the same OTF

That's not to see he didn't know how to play well....maybe he just liked to gamble. As I said he seemed to be on a pretty big heater and seemed to busting every1 inc me obv.

You really are good at insulting people quantum.

Beethoven is tough at heads up sngs one of the few players on stars I would avoid.

I have not played that much with 1016 but have heard from others that he is good and I haven't seen him do much wrong.

This stuff is really hard to quantify because we all have bad days and are playing at different levels of our game at different sessions.

I didn't insult this one (or Queen, phat).

Everything's relative. I don't consider auto re-re-raising hands like A 2 6 9 rainbow in multi-way pots, good. Looks to me like he gets married to any hand he ever plays. I did insult that one.

Has anyone seen much of wanna_rookie,appeared at 0.10/0.25 and ran like god on every table last week, next he appeared at 0.50/1 and seemed to be winning at that as well,so was well surprised to see him sitting at $5/10 last night with a stack over $5k of which he preceded to lose the lot within 3 hands. And then today back down to 0.10/0.25. Rollercoaster ride or what!!!

Queen was at my table for a lot of the late stages of the TCOOP and I don't think they put a foot wrong. Doesn't surprise me that he/she does well in the $2r turbos.
