Just going to explain a bit of method in my maddness here, as it looks insane from just the HH alone
But let me know what you reckon to the call here.
I know the preflop call is pretty loose here especially with the other raises and caller. But I'm thinking I can afford to make a bit of -EV call here to gain +EV on the later streets by outplaying the villians or hitting a good board. I also know its likely to pay very well if 7MICHELL7 gets even a marginal piece, as they will be calling me off or leading into me.
7MICHELL7 VPIP is virtually 100, their PFRaise is 84 and their play on this table (and the other tables I was playing that they were on) has been pretty terrible. I'd previously seen them show down with next to nothing and I'd been looking to stack off for a while, but bailed on out a couple of marginal spots before this due to bad board textures etc, where I could have had the best hand, but easily been dominated by any weak holding they had if they had actually hit.
My read on the villian here is that they have absolutely nothing.
They slow down on the flop, but usually they were jamming/raising with anything like bottom pair, draws, low only hands and anything else, even on a draw heavy board and/or in multiway pots.
I don't bet the flop here as they are either only calling with a hand that crushes me, or they will just shove over the top regardless what they have and it puts me in a spot I dont want to be in, thats just losing me $ everytime.
From my previous with the player, when they bet into the River here, I just read it as trying to take the pot down because they know it wont hold up at showdown.
What do you think?
Would any of you guys call here?
Would you just lay it down preflop and wait for a better spot?
Also:
I'm guessing this player is a (possibly drunk) rec who just mostly plays on the weekend and throws a bit of cash about. So basically what I want to know is, how much +$EV do you gain when playing on the weekends due to the increase in extra (bad) players?
Cheers
