In the SB, I'm probably just calling. If I was suited to the ace, I'd lean towards raising.
As played, bet/fold the river. Straights, trips, and boats are going to look you up, but you might get a better ace to fold. If someone raises, it's nearly never a stone bluff.

1) How often would you 3bet your hand here and why?
Poker Stars $0.50/$1.00 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo - 5 players
Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is SB with A J 8 3
2 folds, BTN raises, Hero ... ?
Never 3-betting. Folding or calling, depending on whether I feel this raise is button just using position. The problem is you're going to have a hard time scooping with this. Rake-free game? Then I'm always calling.

1) Given that BU raises about 1% of hands pre-flop and limps about 50% of hands pre-flop, what range would you give BU in this spot?
Poker Stars $0.50/$1.00 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo - 4 players
Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is BB with K 3 7 A
1 fold, BTN calls, SB calls, Hero raises, BTN calls, SB calls
Flop: (6 SB) J J Q (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, BTN raises, SB folds, Hero ..?
If BU limps half the time, I don't know that you can reliably conclude anything about his range, other than any flop might hit him.
With the flop raise, it's highly likely BU has a Jack (could do it with a queen in position, I guess), and you'd be calling down, hoping to hit a ten for Broadway that may not be any good. Fold.

Hand #4
1) How often do you raise this pre?
2) What do you do on the turn and what is your reason for that?
Poker Stars $0.50/$1.00 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo - 4 players
Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is BB with A 9 J A
1 fold, BTN calls, SB calls, Hero raises, BTN calls, SB calls
Flop: (6 SB) 6 2 Q (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, BTN calls, SB calls
Turn: (4.5 BB) 7 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero ... ?
I like the BB raise 4-handed, but not in a full ring.
I check/call the turn, expecting BTN to bet if he made the NL. But the more I look at it, I suppose a bet might be in order since no straight has come in and we don't mind charging those draws, not that someone holding 345x is ever folding. Either way, I'm hoping for a high card or a board pair on the river.

Hand #5
1) What do you do on the river here?
2) How often would you bet/call in this spot? Our opponent open limps a lot of hands (50%) and seems rather passive.
Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is BB with 3 J 7 A
1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, Hero raises, CO calls, SB calls
Flop: (6 SB) 7 7 9 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB calls
Turn: (4.5 BB) 2 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB folds
River: (6.5 BB) 9 (2 players)
Hero ...?
Always check-calling. Far more likely villain calls our bet with the winner than either he folds it, or calls with worse.
