His 18 man stats are pretty good actually but who cares really since nothing runs above 7$ He hasn't played a single hyper sng. What are you scared of AJ?

probably could get him kicked off of stars for vpning. I doubt any other site would care but he probably has an account on every site(easy to do when you buy an account from a Canadian) and plays them all from the US.

Luke has apologized and 'will be looking into this in due time' Thanks @pandick

I made another post suggesting to add the former Weeklies to the Omania umbrella should he not want to bring back the 'Weekly' label: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/61...l#post50122131

Now that's a start!

What really is frustrating is the lack of response. Since the start of the new schedule I have made at least 10 posts about mixed games but not a single one of them has been addressed. It's like tapping in the dark as to understand what made you do these changes and whether you are willing to listen to us.

I've been looking at the new mixed games schedules from different perspectives (Filtered, Tourney->Special, Events->'MTT schedule'->Majors|'Daily Specials'. It appears - and again we can only speculate - that you intended to unclutter the special tab and therefore have removed both 'Daily' and 'Weekly' tournaments. I see you mentioned the word 'special' in recent posts and it seems to you these tournaments were not very special. They certainly aren't in overall comparison, but for mixed games players those Weekly tournaments are special, something like their Sunday Millions.

Now I'm not sure if there is a chance to bring back the tourneys under their former label. But as you continue to run 'Omania', alternatively you could at least add the former O8 games to that umbrella. In particular:

Daily 15:30 (ET) $27 Omania FLO8, $1.5K Gtd

Sa 13:30 (ET) $215 Omania Weekly-H PLO8, $10K Gtd
Sa 13:30 (ET) $82 Omania Weekly-L PLO8, $8K Gtd

Su 13:00 (ET) $215 Omania Weekly-H NLO8, $12K Gtd
Su 13:00 (ET) $82 Omania Weekly-L NLO8, $10K Gtd

Su 14:30 (ET) $530 Omania Weekly-H FLO8, $15K Gtd
Su 14:30 (ET) $82 Omania Weekly-L FLO8, $4K Gtd

NEW: Su 16:30 (ET) $215 Sunday NLO8 Hyper [6-max], $30K Gtd
Except for the Hyper, I do suggest to make them 8-max (formerly 9-max). If you for some reason don't like the -H/-L approach please bring back at least the $215 versions. I opted for a higher buy-in for the FLO8 to target both high stakes MTT and CG players.

Still no high roller O8 at the weekend (Sa $82 PLO8 PSKO was added recently though), but at least it's a start.

As someone that likes to play mix game mtts too it's pretty horrid in that respect.
It wouldn't hurt if some of you spoke up about 6-max in the COOP threads. I posted in there how PLO8 WCOOP prize pools have dropped since they switched to 6-max and how that contradicted the "players demand 6-max" statement. I know they usually don't listen, or if they do it usually takes time to change, buy still worth making your voice heard.

However we were all pretty tilted after that BF crap, so an apology or at least an explanation would've been more than enough to suffice.
He got caught red handed entering the same tournaments with multiple accounts for years on cake poker, merge, and who knows where else. He was even sloppy enough that every time he got heads up with his two accounts the AJB one would win (I assume to inflate his stats). AJB is the scum of the earth, no questions asked.

  1. Participation in PL Omaha Hi/Lo declined significantly from 2009 to 2010, then (corrected for Black Friday decline which affected everything) leveled off from 2011 to 2013 - even rising a bit.
  2. Participation in 2014 (when the $320 was changed to 6-Max) dropped sharply, then dropped again in 2015. A similar, though much less severe drop was seen in SCOOP in 2016 when the change to 6-Max was made.

As a bit of a control, I took a look at how FLO/8 did in WCOOP over the years. From 2013 to 2014, it dropped by 7.5% (while not changing format at all)... while PLO/8 dropped 19.8% when the format changed from 9-Max to 6-Max. This seems significant.

From my perspective, I think that it's pretty clear that we need to look at changing the PL Omaha Hi/Lo Event to 9-Max, or perhaps to 8-Max... and I'll be bringing this up in our scheduling meeting next week as we look toward finalizing the schedule. Thank you very much for bringing this up.

However, that's just for WCOOP and is from Bryan. From everything I've seen over the last 1-2 years, Bryan is much better at taking on board and responding to (and implementing) feedback and criticisms than Luke is.

True. I was just focusing on COOPs, because that's all I can see playing now.

It sounds like Stars has butchered the O8 schedule (removed weeklies, moved to KOs, rake for rebuys/add-ons, FR SNGs mostly replaced by Spin & Gos and Hypers, etc.). All they really needed to do (from 1.5 years ago, last time I played) was add more MTTs and make some reasonable GTDs and I think it would be close to ideal given the changed online poker environment. Instead they implemented a lot of short-sighted tactics to grab more money and make the games less appealing to their audience.

Have they abandoned Courchevel yet? I'm guessing they haven't done anything to promote the popularity of the game.
