6/12 O8 Live Kills to 10/20

Kill is on. Hero is in sb w Ad6c5d3h. Bb has the kill. Folded to sb. I raise. Bb calls. Flop is KsQs5h.

What now? Does the four lows lose value in the hu?

Just realized, could've chopped.

check/fold because chances are good that his range in that situation hit a good piece of that board...at least better than you did bc you missed almost completely lol

Agree with the raise pre though.

This is obviously not a good flop for your hand. But if you think your opponent plays relatively straightforward, I don't why you shouldn't bet. He only needs to fold 20% of the time for this to be immediately profitable, and even if he calls, there's many cards that give you a ton of equity on the turn.

As for preflop, you should definitely accept any opportunity to chop when you are in the kill. Though if you don't usually chop and your game frowns on such selective chopping, I suppose you shouldn't do it. If you're not chopping, raising preflop seems pretty obvious.

Bb should defend close to his entire range, folding only really trashy hands like trips and perhaps disconnected weak pairs without a low draw

Given that I think limp-calling preflop with a low-orientated hand is fine, we aren't really pushing much of an equity edge and will whiffs lots of flops, combined with being oop

As played I would bet/Call the flop

Here's the numbers for some (mostly) objective info:

Preflop:
ProPokerTools Omaha Hi/Lo Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)
Hand Pot equity Scoops Wins HiTies HiWins Lo Ties Lo
Ad6c5d3h55.35% 250,067284,3919,792272,25916,017
100%44.65% 190,874305,8179,79235,52016,017

And some postflop sims with a few different range types:
ProPokerTools Omaha Hi/Lo Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)
board: KQ5
Hand Pot equity Scoops Wins HiTies HiWins Lo Ties Lo
Ad6c5d3h42.23% 205,537221,1717,270129,7715,607
[2-K][4-K][6-Q]57.77% 300,241371,5597,27019,7915,607

ProPokerTools Omaha Hi/Lo Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)
board: KQ5
Hand Pot equity Scoops Wins HiTies HiWins Lo Ties Lo
Ad6c5d3h42.21% 202,279222,29510,959118,4198,670
75%57.79% 297,636366,74610,95926,1198,670

Bet/call might be fine as an exploitative line I guess, but really depends on your opponent and such. If the conditions are right I'd give it a shot sometimes. I didn't notice kill was on the first time, so c/c and praying for a low turn is better than c/f.

It doesn't matter what BB should call, it matter what he will call. And in my experience the BB will fold a lot in this situation in this level of game. Remember he needs to call $14 more to defend his $6 BB, so he's getting less than 2:1, unlike a typical BB defense where he's getting at least 3.5:1.

Bb was kill so he had to put in $10 instead of the 6

Most casinos do not allow a chop during a kill.

If this is parx you shouldn't be chopping since it's time.

Imo you should bet/call and see what turn brings.

I have played in many rooms and believe I have never played in a room where a chop is not allowed when the killer is one of the natural blinds. However, in a few rooms the kill just has to be reposted on the following hand, so there may not be much benefit in the killer chopping.

The low hand loses in hu you hit not flush so you cannt scoop, chasing 1/2 pot hu is well .... worthless. If you cannt make him fold then fold yourself, or play your pr of 5s. For a reraise he may have nothing and assume the worst.
