Game is must move to the main game and has been going for about 30 min

Villain 1 - probably the biggest action player in the pool. Totally psychopath when playing. Blind bets, repotting with trash, slow rolling, etc. He's always having a good time whether winning or losing but goes nuts at every opportunity.

Villain 2 - losing fish. Not very relevant.

On to the hand...

Villain 1 (button straddle $10) - $1500
Villain 2 (SB) - $300
Hero (co) - $1200

We have QhQsJhTs8d

Folds to hero, we limp for $10. Villain 1 makes it $50. Villain 2 calls. We call.

Flop: $160
Jc9h6s
Villain 2 checks, we check, waiting for villain 1 to pot as he always does. Villain 1 pots, Villain 2 ships for a little more. Hero?

We have non nut wrap, 2 bdfd, and over pair. No front door low draw possible and we block top set. We also block the nut wrap.

Call knowing that Villain 1's range is super wide or put it all in? Or is this hand bad to play in this spot all together even with V1 in the hand?

I mean, apart from flopping quads what sort of flop were you trying to hit? Seems like gin to me, prolly expect villain to show up with some sort of overpair plus backdoor low or wouldn't shock me to see dummy end of the wrap, or two pair and a gutter. Call and close your eyes!

Sorry, didn't see that spazz fish was yet to act. Easiest flop pot ever, villain 2 probably has some sort of top pair or overpair w a gutter and knows V1 has garbage. You are so far ahead of V1 range, seems like a pretty easy spot here

I don't think calling is good with a hand this strong, and he probably puts you on exactly a wrap when you call. Folding is out of the question of course, so the only sensible action imo is to raise, which also balances your range nicely to not be only sets.

yeah, never folding this flop. was mainly interested in options after the short stacker goes all in... flat or pot. pot sounded best to me also.

how is preflop? this isn't my normal hand selection but i thought that given the circumstances it definitely had merit.

I think both limping and folding are fine pre, I mean it's not a hand that's going to make you lots of money but should be decent enough to play, even if BTN is going to raise a ton.

Yep, given the info and reads, I think pre is fine/good.

It depends, you're a little deep but not too bad, I think even if he's 3 better preflop a lot with any cards, its better to open for 2-3x and let him 3 bet more often pre(especially if he cbets with garbage a lot) that way the pot is a little bigger when you do get hands like that and youre putting more pressure on v2 if hes a fish. Overall tho, I'd say ship it, especially if hes making some dumb ass call there with like top 2 and no redraws or even worse. I assume you have enough to rebuy and bust him even if he donks out on you right?

That's a Great starting hand in Big O, especially 3 handed. I personally don't like limping even when there's a crazy aggressive guy(especially if he's 3betting you light) I think its better to let him build up a bit of a pot and then catch him slippin(plus when you get a monster flop like that hes more committed).

Big O can be a ***** tho, I've lost my share of 4-500bb stacks so I know how it feels, especially when its some bull****.
