Villain is unknown.

What is the appropriate river action after getting reraised?

First thought is I'm very rarely getting 3 quartered, based on the flop getting checked through. If I cap, I'm targeting wheels and obviously villain has no folding range.

I call river. Villain only needs one specific card to make the wheel so not at all unlikely you're up against boat and wheel. 5 are somewhere.

I think I would just call. The question is how often villain 3-bets a naked wheel compared to how often he has a wheel+full house. Naked wheels are much more likely in terms of combinations, but I think become less likely given the action. Naked full houses (and also wheels + a 6) are irrelevant to the calculation because you chop with them regardless of your action.

That said, in a $2 mixed tournament, I suppose it is possible villain is doing something totally weird like raising a naked 5 because he has no clue about relative hand strength in this game.

There is general agreement that the river should be 2-bet with this hand though right?

Its quite thin given bb's line and your exact stack, cap is clear spew

Turn its a harder decision, especially because of your short stack

on the button with double suited it's really a nice spot to get in cheap.

bearing in mind i only put chips in when generally an ace flops / have strong hands

for example if it goes bet raise on the turn and a guy calls 2 cold i just quickly fold my straight and 65432 low no problem

Because the value of winning 450 more chips vs losing 450 more chips is not equivalent with your stack size, your decision should be skewed to the more conservative choice

I think a cap is closer than people think but would lean towards a call. Raising the river is a slam dunk you 3 quarter him far more often than you get quartered. Obv after the 3bet that's a diff story
