If I am the preflop raiser, I am almost always preferring the big blind to fold rather than defend, though in a four way pot I am pretty indifferent.
And if I am the OP, the likelihood that the villain has aces is a much less of a consideration to me in a four-way pot than the likelihood of getting whipsawed or forced to fold away equity later in the hand.
