I live in Canada but purchase all my kindle books from Amazon.com (instead of Amazon.ca). Are you able to do the same thing?

no i can't.. Amazon.com asks me for a US billing address in order to purchase items

I used to order items from Amazon.com and I had it shipped either to my Canadian address or to a US postal box. The US postal box did not match my credit card.

Since you are not actually getting items shipped, I wonder if it would work if you just created a US address for the purpose of ordering kindle books. I think it might work.

It does kind of suck for you to do this to order a $10 book but its worth a try and then you can just continue ordering kindle of Amazon.com which is what I do - I have not migrated to Amazon.ca because the selection is not as extensive.

Especially after seeing Andrew Robl looking like a hardened war torn veteran at the Aria Highroller cash game. Reading this book 5 years ago may have been mildly disappointing.

I've had very few problems with amazon.com as a Canadian resident.

Some stuff they just won't sell to canada. Like certain clothing brands (like Hudson Bay doesn't want amazon.com selling Calvin Klein to Canadians)

Anyway, for physical stuff you can pay horrible ship costs to Canada or use USA package service if you live near border

Does amazon.ca have kindle books now? They don't have nearly as many books tho. And amazon seems to want you not to buy from both sites (you'd have to change your default settings every time)
