"Carrot Poker." Carroters is a coach at grinderschool.com. He is an excellent instructor for 6max and very entertaining. I highly recommend it.

You can pick up the grinder school podcast. It's free as well. For me it's not as good as Carrot Poker but it covers a wide array of game types. (Not as good because I don't really play SNG and they rotate topics weekly).

Portland Poker University Hand of the Week- This is one of my favorite podcasts. These guys are really knowledgeable and are easy to understand.

Two Plus Two- The Pinnacle of what a Poker Podcast should be

Thinking Poker- They are always talking theory and strategy. Very Good podcast

Oneouter- I love Alex. Hes extremely smart. That being said, he says You know and Like A lot. If you can get past that its pretty good. If you cant get past that it can drive you mad!

Grinderschool- This is the Best low limit podcast. They have different instructors and some of them are very good.

Jonathan Little Hand of The week- He is the master 'nuff said

Thanks for suggesting Carrot Poker. never heard of it. I will add it to my rotation. He is my favorite instructor at Grinderschool.

Some others that are in my rotation..

Heads Up Poker Podcast
Under The Gun Poker Podcast
Rounders Radio
Poker Action Line
Midstakes Living
Ante Up
Poker News Poker Podcast- This one used to be very good. Not sure why they have gone away from the formula that they used to have. Now they talk about different sports alot. I guess if you are into playing fantasy sports, this could be helpful.

Great recommendations! thanks for posting.

I am going to add a couple:
Red Chip Poker just started their podcasts - worth checking out as they have a pretty stacked line up of pros

Crush Live Poker - Bart Hanson's stuff is always first rate. It is geared for live cash games and it is subscription based

Two podcasts that are not mentioned above which I also have in my list:

Postflop Poker Podcast: each episode is dedicated to another type of hand (AA, KK, AK, QQ, overpairs, sets, ...) which they cover by discussing two or three example hands in depth: half an hour per hand, so it's about 1 hour to 1,5 hour per episode. Very interesting analysis which results in a lot of good advice, and very pleasent hosts.

The Mindset Advantage: as you can guess not about hand strategy, but about mental strategy. Each episode another guest comes to talk about his or her mental approach to the game, how they deal with tilt, and what edge their mental state gives them over their opponents. Maybe not the kind of strategy your looking for, but very insightful nonetheless to improve your game.

Yeah for strategy I like Carrot Poker, RCP, Postflop (although I am biased being one of the hosts) and of course Jonathan Little weekly podcast.

I also enjoy The Mindset Advantage Podcast with Elliot Row and Dr. Tricia Cardner which whilst not strategy based does give great content on the mental side of the game.

Between those and one or two others you can probably get a well rounded set of podcasts to help with your game.

Hi Chip:

I've never listened to this podcast. However, earlier tonight I was interviewed on The Poker Advocacy Show with Rich Muny where we talked about my new book, Real Poker Psychology, (which we should have on Thursday). When this goes up as a podcast, I suggest you give it a listen and see if you continue to think that The Mindset Advantage Podcast with Elliot Row and Dr. Tricia Cardner offers great content.

(Again, I've never listened to this show. But if the content is of the same quality as Cardner's book, after hearing my interview you may begin to have second thoughts.)

Best wishes,
Mason

Sorry I should have mentioned Mason...feel free to have a listen to the Postflop Poker Podcast that I co-host if you have not already. The audience we are aimed towards is beginners to serious recreational players however we would value any feedback you may have.

All the best and I look forward to listening to the upcoming podcast.

Best

Chip
