Absolute and Relative Hand Strength

There was just too much information for a single article, so I wrote this addendum which is on my blog, check it out of you ever wonder why on 3rd your A23 is not the best hand.

I am also really delighted to point out that Dan Abrams has an article on very much the same issues Evaluating Starting Hands in Razz with his own hand rating system in this same issue. So, you will be able to compare and contrast and get the best ideas for yourself and your game by reading both. I can't say enough nice things about Bryan and Mason for making the decision to include them both so you all, the 2+2ers, get the benefit.

Merry Christmas or whatever other thing y'all celebrate this month. If you don't celebrate a holiday, celebrate yourself. Do that anyway.

Thanks Lis. Obviously, we have different ways of slicing the same apple in our articles, but hopefully players will take the points to heart that are in both and look at the issue as not simply "any three-card 8 is good".
