Range of steal and cbet Range of steal and cbet

Hey guys, my name is Wegis Silveira, signed up for a while in Twoplustwo.

I need a help to adjust my range of steal in cash.

Analyzing my stats I realized that despite my percentage of steals not be as high, at times I try to steal with very weak hands. For example, in one hand I tried a steal of BTN with 62o and got BB's call; on board (QAQ) I made the cbet of a half pot and received call. dropped on the turn, of course.

I know the cbet was horrible, but which range steal you advise me? and what better way to make a continuation bet or not?

If you are raising 62o it should be because SB and BTN are either folding too much to steals or one of them is calling normal/widish but then folding to c-bets very often. If the raise is automatically profitable then we don't have to c-bet every time b/c it's likely they're defending a tight range and won't be giving up post-flop easy.

AQQ hits a lot of their broadway hands that they might be defending - they'll call any Ax and Qx and probably call KJ too as well as medium pairs. So having a 1 c-bet and done on this board isn't great but firing more barrels isn't going to be good with no equity and with how wide we will be in this spot. So overall best play is to check and give up and go for a delayed c-bet OTT.
