Ed Miller's "How to Read Hands" is pretty good, since it helps you to visualise ranges, using Pokerstove/Equilab.

These two seem to be the best I've been reccommended. Thanks for your help I'll check them out. Anything else reccommended for this. Training videos, youtube videos. One guy said he used the Jack links beef jerky guess the hand game on televised tournaments to help him a little and those videos are on youtube

Here is another good read from this site a while ago. I think it still holds true:

SplitSuit just did a webinar on hand reading. Usually, after the fact, his webinars are available for purchase. Looked promising.

Andrew Brokos hand reading series on TPE is very good.

Otherwise listen to his Thinking Poker Podcast strategy segments. They are usually very strong on hand reading.

Is this tourney specific or is it relevant to cash as well? I'm a big Andrew fan so I'll likely check it out regardless

Works for tourney or cash. It's a hand reading system and all the hands he analyses are deep.

Don't intend this as self-promotion but I still believe this is one of the better guides available:

Owens book goes into other topics besides hand reading and I thought the hand reading material was really brief. The Ed Miller book has a lot more to say about the topic, gives you a lot more work to do and applying the material is more difficult than the hand reading material in Owens book.

Owens book is okay I guess and it covers stuff you don't see in the Miller book. If I wanted info on hand reading and could only get one, then I'd get the Miller book.

Here is my shortcut to hand-reading: If your opponent knows that you will fold anyways, his range is probably very wide.

Just started but I think Moorman's book does the trick even though it is constructed in the MTT format..
