Any feedback on the PLO8 MTT Series? Any feedback on the PLO8 MTT Series?

August 2009 was the concluding article on the general play of PLO8 MTTs. Ideally, I would like 2p2 magazine to have a hit-count on each article so I might get a feeling how many people looked at the article, but since that is not the case, I am issuing a direct appeal for feedback.

I would very much like any feedback on the series of articles. If you took advice from this series and put it to good use, that would be especially heartwarming, but I would also like to hear criticism on the articles.

If there are specific PLO8 MTT topics that you felt were not discussed in enough depth here and might make a decent article in the future, please provide that feedback as well.

Thanks

I'd like to read part one and two. Can you tell me where to find them (because they are older than a half year), please?

same here, I need the first 3 parts.

If author has them on another website or would be willing to pm me so we can exchange e-mails I would appreciate it.

I understand this 3 month rule of 2+2, but sometimes it really is not workable for a lot of us.

thanks

Hi Daniel,

I think the articles are very usefull. But I found it very difficult to read the hand by hand sections with the way you document the cards in the hand.

Cheers,

A

+1

I don't know if its possible with these blogs, but the hands really need to be identified with the suits like this: AAJT

Good luck

Finding NLHE fields getting tougher and tougher I vowed last year to improve my game in some of the other forms of poker in the hunt for better +EV there. Also a bit of variation to help combat the grind of NLHE all day every day. I'd dabbled in some MTTs of Omaha, Omaha08, Razz and HORSE last year with mixed results. During a 4 month break from the tables I obtained a copy of Super System 2 and after reading through the LHE section and deciding against further study on that game till later, I moved on to the Omaha08 section. After reading this section thoroughly I felt I had a better grasp of starting hands, general play etc even though it was aimed at limit. I began playing some micro MTTs with limited success (a couple of final tables and a few cashes)

This morning I was about to post asking for some direction towards PLO8 MTTs when I noticed this thread. Having read through the articles I can gratefully say this has helped me a lot. As a result I feel better equipped to go through the right thought processes at each stage of the tournament. Where I feel I have gained the most benifit is your description of short stacked play. This was something I was struggling with since I had no form of guidance as yet in how to deal with those situations.

If anyone has any other relevant articles some links would be greatly appreciated
