Ya, you're all right -- the short-term prospers over the long-term. I mean, who cares that the entire American education system is in shambles. Who cares that your kids don't actually learn anything in school save how to be Good Industrial Pawns; a meme that went obsolete in the 60's. Who cares that America now needs to get competitive, to start producing things, to begin innovating -- which requires brains that the current school system can't provide. Who cares about any of this?

I'm with you buddy. And you know what's going to fix it? Making sure teachers don't contribute to their pensions and health care going forward. As long as they don't pay for pensions and health care, all this other stuff is on the verge of turning around, I can feel it.

Here. 40 hrs worth/yr minus whatever you use.

I work in manufacturing. Incentive designed to keep people from using all 40 hours just for the hell of it.
