I know this is the 2+2 political forums is pretty much the equivalent to a dailykos blog now, but come the hell on.

You and I both know that handing over the nuclear codes is high treason. He would be impeached, convicted and executed for that.

A north-eastern candidate with a lot of dirt winning the presidency?

Yeah, I agree. That could never happen.

I wonder if Trump's actual probability is over or under 9.9%. He will be dealing with way more stress than the average person and the threat of assassination -- but, he will have the best doctors in the world who are constantly monitoring him and he is way less likely to die in a freak accident.

threat of assassination aside, most 70-year-olds aren't as obese as donald and are comfortably retired

although i imagine most septuagenarians who can choose their own diet eat like **** too. they're all in dgaf mode

Magic Johnson had a 25% chance of living with HIV longer than 15 years without developing AIDS. Whats your point?

Its way lower, the leading cause of death has to be heart attack and he should have a defibrillator within reach at all times.

oddly, it appears him being overweight might not affect his mortality rate

Overweight older people are not at greater mortality risk than those who are normal weight

The peak age for heart attacks in men is really 54-65. There is a decline thereafter, the statistics are misleading because they include heart failure in people in their 80s and 90s. What kills men in their middle 70s and beyond is usually way different than the coronary heart attacks that suddenly kill men in their 50s and early to mid 60s and is more on the order of the heart simply giving out then causing a massive coronary because of blocked arteries.

the way i understood that study was a lot of old people forget to eat and they'll get lightheaded and fall down. there are gonna be people around donald constantly, someone will tell him he's looking woozy or smth

Only ways Trump does not run in 2020 is 1, debilitating health condition, or 2, he's already president for life. This man has no shame, doesn't think any scandal applies to him, and craves attention and power. No way he just retires gracefully.

trump has been talking about the next 8 years, guys. if he didn't step down after the billy bush tape he'll never step down. the full HD video and audio confession of a serial rapist. voters feel he probably won't rape them i guess.

i half thought he was going to quit the presidency halfway through today's press conference. He may just hate being the ultimate lightning rod of the country after four years, with people saying big mean words at him.

4>8>less than 4

He's a big favorite to serve a full term, but probably has the best chance of any recent president to end up impeached and ousted.

Or just boredom. The life of an ex-President seems more his style than actually being President. If he is able to coast by for 4 years I could easily see him passing next time.
01-11-2017 , 05:28 PM
I agree.

I can easily see him saying, look at all these jobs we brought back. Unemployment at 4%. ISIL destroyed. The DOW is at, I don't know, let's say 25,000, an ALL TIME HIGH.

And just ride out into the sunset.
01-11-2017 , 05:28 PM
Still think an overweight 70+ year old who doesn't appear to sleep much and just might be beholden to violent Russians is a decent shot to die in office either via natural causes or Russian reprisal.

Think you have to treat that post more like fanfic of a diehard than a guy only half plugged in, not a prediction of the future but a lurid fantasy. In the same way Star Wars fans might be the one to enslave Leia in their alt Star Wars universe they wrote or like how I could easily see Kate Upton leaving Justin Verlander for me and we just ride out into the sunset together.

You don't think he can just roll with the economy doing fine like it is right now for 4 years? Cut some taxes. Cheerlead some factories being built. Build some TRUMP bridges. Make some connections for a couple billion dollars post-Presidency and call it a day? Ride out into the sunset as a success?

Treason only applies in wartime and even then the minimum penalty's only a $10,000 fine.

no. the guy craves adulation. how do you not recogize that?

My guess is that he has to step down within the next 4 years to prevent the economy from collapsing. Stock markets do not like trade wars.
