I honestly think Rand Paul is an intriguing choice. Young, charismatic, smart, shores up support with the Christian Right and obviously the Ron Paul-types. He's a doctor, he's not some stiff rich guy from New England, has pretty high name recognition, etc. And if by some miracle they win, he's easily marginalized as VP if that's what R. Money wants.

Though Rubio is the LDO choice for me if I'm R. Money. Just add him to the ticket and have him spend the entire four months barnstorming Florida. He's the most likely candidate to turn his state, and those 29 EVs are obviously huge.

One it helps him in the "women" area. Two it helps him with NH.

I actually like Paul as a VP choice for the above mentioned reasons. But could you imagine a campaign full of haircuts, dogs on the car roof and aqua buddha?

Mitch Daniels is the smartest, most qualified guy out there, so he will never be chosen.

John Edwards
A bold cross over move. Would appeal to trial lawyers, cheating politicians and sluts. Has ready access to "Bunny money".
If convicted, Mitt can pardon him. Neither party would impeach him. Repugs control the House and Dems have shown they would not convict their own. Campaign can save money by having Mitt give Edwards haircuts.

Bill Clinton is the best choice.
