Who will be the 2016 Libertarian nominee? Who will be the 2016 Libertarian nominee?

Fwiw, I don't think Johnson is running a sincere campaign so much as angling for a cabinet position in an Ince administration.

Looking at those websites makes me think I should become a web designer.

Abhorrent governmental violation of our most basic liberties and all we hold dear.

There's an obvious solution here that will keep government out of our lives: if a person is being menaced by someone else's dog, they are within their rights to shoot it. This provides an effective incentive to keep dogs under control without resorting to coercion.

Nah lots of them have tried working within the two party system with various results. A lot of libertarians pushed for Obama in 2008... they got burned pretty hard.

I really should go to this. I'm off work that week and my sister lives in Orlando.

If you go to the convention, walk around saying stuff like "I'm libertarian but I feel like legalizing weed is going a bit far". Wear spittle-proof clothing.

An Australian has just as much chance of being President as a Libertarian. I doubt it will be an issue.

I'm way too lazy but on 2p2 in 2010 I wrote that if you literally looked like Frankenstein and coded like him too, but had a plausible resume as a web designer, you'd still land a job and never get fired. But then I gave some quip that like no, in five years, you might actually have to be good.

Nope, totally wrong. It's 2016 and you could still have an arm growing out of your head and that's the one you type with and all you do is mash the keyboard with it and sometimes it randomly generates valid HTML. There is a $75k/yr job waiting for that person somewhere.

But what if I see the dog **** on my lawn but he gets away before I can unload on the pup for his egregious violation of my property rights? Am I allowed to round up a posse and shoot the dog and its owner? Vexing questions, we need answers from libertarian leadership.

Bump for FREEDOM

So I guess the debate happened, but it was just an internet thing with most candidates sitting in their spare bedroom wearing headphones. Austin Petersen stayed true to his marketing roots and had the good sense to class it up from a library that is almost certainly a set. John McAfee skipped the live video and went with that still of him holding a gun to his own head.

And Darryl Perry hung a sheet in mom's basement. Randomly clicking the video slider brought me this tidbit. There may be more, but I think I've seen enough.

They're actually having a debate on fox business network on April 1st hosted by Stossel.

April 1st seems appropriate.

I really hope Darryl gets to show up.

Mother of God...... I assumed you were kidding about the McAfee picture. In college I had a professor whose dream was to built a flying car and had a project he worked on for like 20 years. The real reason we don't have them if they are a stupid idea, and the people who try to build them are crackpots....

How is this not here?

McAfee also apparently murdered some dude in Belize. Not sure that that impacts his chances here in any way, however.
