One story is much more supported then the other, which is a big reason why they are treated differently.

You can accept a difference from Cain scandal to Cain scandal and yet, weirdly, you are confused why the Cain scandal and the Edwards scandal werent treated identically.

really? one has multiple legal settlements supporting it. the other has the word of one woman afaik.

The newest Cain accuser supplied a reporter with her cell phone records showing her and Cain talking a few months ago at 4am. This being on Cain's personal cell. Plus a ton of calls and texts throughout the last 6 months or so.
I don't see him weaseling his way out of this one.

I hope he decides to step down ASAP.

oh i thought u were talking about the cain affair. yea i know about john edwards. and i wasn't comparing herman cain to edwards. i was comparing the lack of condemnation through all of the allegations of sexual harassment and the settlements on behalf of the NRA vs this recent alleged affair.

lol phil you obviously know nothing about the edwards scandal. The Edwards scandal was first reported in October 2007. No follow up from the MSM. It was August 2008 when he admitted he had an affair. It was 2010 when he admitted it was his kid and a sex tape surfaced.

The goods on the story came out in mid July 2008. Instead of actually reporting on it, the MSM buried it initially. The editor of the LAT told his bloggers not to talk about it. CNN didn't mention anything until August 6th. MSNBC didn't mention it either.

FFS it seems like pretty much the entire campaign staff knew but didn't say anything going back to early 08.
