Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee? Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee?

I've been predicting a Perry "comeback" for a while. That doesn't mean I think he'll win. But I do think he's the logical landing place for the Cain supporters, once they notice that he doesn't have a chance.

Perry's quick fall is kind of a blessing. Many people may reconsider simply out of a sense that they rejected him too hastily.

How did Cain go from being just a CEO, to being invited to the 1st debates? Will he release the calculations he made for his 9-9-9 plan?

Did his Godfathers Pizza receive any loans from a federal reserve member bank?
10-12-2011 , 09:29 PM
don't diss pizza

Cain is taking the spot light off people like Ron Paul. Cain seriously makes me sick, but id easily vote for him if i only had to pay 9% on poker winnings, when poker is back.

How long will it take for the 9% income tax to get morphed back into our current income tax? And then we just have our current income tax + 9% sales tax.
10-12-2011 , 09:51 PM
But corporations will keep their 9%. And fox will make people happy to let them keep everything.

Is Jared from Subway a conservative? Maybe he could run.

The 999 plan is just a stepping stone for a national sales tax:

It would make it possible to end the IRS as we know it.
The Fair Tax makes our exported goods and services the most competitively internationally than any other tax system.
so 999 ----> 00?

The 999 plan will never happen. Cain's tax policy is as fictitious as Obama's foreign policy was during his campaign.

Obama's foreign policy is very similar to what he said he was going to do during the campaign.

Ok ive been thinking and Cain is not a bad idea to take on Obama. Cain's 9 9 9 tax will sound appealing to alot of people. I think if enough people are pissed off about the economy and high taxes, we can get the 9 9 9 plan going. Increasing taxes on people in the top 1% who make 380k a year from 35% to higher is just plain dumb, so ive heard is Obamas plan. Cain will be a puppet but lowering taxes, would cause a big dip in government spending. I think enough Republicans and others would vote him in over Obama. This would make society worse off for maybe a 20 year span if it continued. But if would build for a brighter future.

I don't think things work how you think they do. Everyone just pays lip service to the 'cut spending' theme. When pressed they can never actually tell you where these massive cuts are going to come from. Hence why we are $14 trillion in debt. They will just continue borrowing more. Ron Paul is the only one that takes spending cuts seriously.

I'm still waiting for Cain to release his calculations and 'analysis' used, because it seems everyone else who is running the numbers on 999 is coming to different conclusions regarding: 1)The fact that it will be revenue neutral 2)The way it affects the tax burden of different income levels.

So far in rebuttal to these arguments he has only offered, 'The problem with your analysis is that it's wrong.' Helpful.

Voting A.B.O. in 2012. My guess is it will be Romney.

"The problem with that analysis is that it is incorrect."

Nitpick A-Go-Go!
