It always amazes me that people don't realize that just about any poll question will get about 10%.
Seriously yo, people are dumb, 50% below average. The difference between average and me (admittedly not amazingly smart), is the difference between an average person and a retard.

Re: Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee?
Arizona PPP 2/17-2/19
36% Romney
33% Santorum
16% Gingrich
9% Paul
Source
I like Santorum's chances a lot to sweep Arizona and Michigan. Gingrich seems likely to fall off a bit more as he has nationally and that should benefit Santorum. Romney really needs something to happen in the debate Wednesday or else he's in pretty bad shape. The one primary Santorum has competed in he overperformed pretty well, the only polling for the Missouri primary had 45% Santorum, 34% Romney. The actual results had 55% Santorum, 25% Romney.

Yeah I don't fault R. Money for accepting the earmarks for the Olympics, even if he's anti-earmark.
Analogy: The military will pay me a lot more money if I get married. I think that that is really dumb for a variety of reasons. But if I get married, I'm still gonna take the money.
EDIT: And I might even be open to getting married just for the money.

While there are dumb people out there, I frequently see opinion questions with 90%+ or single digit answers.

And lol at the "25 cents of powder" argument. The cost of the materials is 100% irrelevant. I'm fine with discussing how retarded the pharmaceutical laws in this country are, but that's a different thread.

Bump.
I'm wondering who exactly is being discriminated against in this case. AFICT the church is not singling any particular people out here.

Like how Cain was still getting support after he'd dropped out of the race?

I think you guys are missing the point here. There is a huge difference between accepting the money and spending millions of dollars lobbying for that money.

I may be blinded by allegiance but that is a point without distinction in my opinion. I would be interested in what other's think.

Re: Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee?
I haven't been following this discussion that closely, so apologies if this comment is irrelevant, but in general, I don't think this is an interesting line of attack. If Romney opposes earmarks on the basis of corruption (or weaker forms of the same concept) or waste, then to show hypocrisy, the burden must be that his use of that money for the Olympics was corrupt or wasteful.

According to Tea Party orthodoxy, earmarks, by definition, are wasteful and, given its general view of government, corrupt.

Lol at picking the olympics and earmarks as points of attack on Romney. There's plenty of stuff out there kowboy, you can do better.
