Identity politics is just an exploitation of humanity's intrinsic tribal nature for the sake of power. All sides use the tactic because it's very effective. I don't see this ever changing. (Well, maybe we can talk after another million years of evolution.)

Your post is so disappointing. How ingrained is identity politics thinking if you think that an amorphous group of people is a bigger influence on kids than their own parents?

Once you fall for the idea that people are just groups and not individuals, you have cheapened what it means to be human.
