Dao: Your stock dropped 200 million because of this, every time that video of me getting the **** kicked out of me on your plane airs you lose more customers. I'm feeling like taking a tour of the mourning shows and then the late night talk shows and showing that video over and over again.

United: How about 15 million?

"The Cummingses told CNN in a phone interview three days after the incident that Dao was not belligerent and got only mildly upset when a second officer arrived, demanding he leave the plane, they said. Dao never raised his voice, the couple said."

If the lawyer increased what he could have got, it is +EV.

Incentivize him to get a great deal.

Dao almost certainly got somewhere between 1 and 10 million.

Paying him off only stops his lawyers press conferences, not the viral video itself. And Dao's leverage decays with time as news cycle moves on. Furthermore, his case seems kind of weak and his damages seem pretty low.

But, KEEED told us it was a FOR SURE THING DAYS AFTER IT HAPPENED, LOTS OF PEOPLE SAID SO.

I hear United has the best Chinese takeout (zing!)

Incredible that you think stalking me from thread to thread pointing out that I work at a paper mill embarrasses me or makes me look the least bit bad. Keep it up!

You could always flip his switch and watch him implode again, although that's starting to get so embarrassing as to be cringe worthy.

Wowww!! That lady is a great face for Delta. Jeeeeepers.

I've found Delta to be one of the better Airlines by the way, but wow, that's a bad line to take.

I was waiting to see SK address this before responding because I've seen you raise this a couple times before but - while I might not find him having a position as any sort of legal consultant reassuring - it's pretty lame to just attack someone for where they work.

If SK was working at a paper company and kept trying to upsell his boss on single-ply at the mercy of super duper soft triple, then fine. Scumbag.

But working at a place where they make TP is in no way something to look down on just because it's toilet paper. Lots of good hardworking people do some pretty unglamorous jobs and looking down on them just because of that is categorically not cool. Might as well take a shot at your plumber and garbageman while you're at it. Not everyone goes princeton -> harvard MBA -> wall street banker.

Like, maybe rethink why you keep bringing it up. Introspection never hurts.

It's too late to edit but, having not wanted to lobby undeserved insults, I felt like taking the time to look this up before claiming I merely remembered it in my initial response:

straight up LOLLLLLL at the guy who brags about his wife committing theft every other week for a period of 5 years trying to sully someone's name because he works at a company that produces toilet paper.

Seriously DIB - time for some introspection.
