LOL @ the winner in Hallam looking to make his speech before the 'High Sheriff of Sheffield' has had a chance to read the results out. Wonder what our Yank friends are making of this.

Clegg even lost to a ginger.

We are mostly impressed that your law enforcement officials are so brazen about their drug use

Sky News has an updated projection of the Conservatives winning 308-328 seats.

Mkay - I guess we'll see in some post-election polling. 2nd referendum/brexit is clearly an issue in Scotland - and it seems hard to break the ~43% barrier for yes, but there's also some typical fall off from absurdly high-points of the SNP election votesin 2015 and the last assembly elections.

Clegg gets to go back to his foxy wife so it's hard to feel too sorry for him.

Clegg going is a big shame. He was out of his depth imo but a decent man who could have played an important role over brexit if we manage to get rid of the tories.

He still could I suppose if they stick him in the lords.

Clegg is the one who has most constantly tried to make the proEU case. I wish he had been able to do a better job of it but at least he kept at it. He also has good relationships with those in Brussels which would be very handy.
