Maybe I'm totally wrong but that's just what I seem to see from 4,500 miles away.
Erm what do you mean by the Lib Dem vote share in 2010 was a one time thing? They won 22% in 2010, 18.3% in 2005, 16.8% in 2001 and 17.8% in 1997.

My bad, I thought 2010 was a huge increase for them.

Is there any US interest in the UK election? Generally the US election is heavily covered here.

Another rumour that Galloway may lose his seat. Please, please let it be true

Exit poll expert guy just said he "expects" UKIP to be the 3rd party in terms of votes
05-07-2015 , 07:10 PM
My impression was that was a certainty anyway, who would have possibly won more then them?
05-07-2015 , 07:21 PM
guess I over-estimated the Lib Dem support :S

I'm loving the labour spin right now. I so want to collect their tears and drink them to sleep tonight.

Interesting that the UKIP vote seems to have taken from Labour as much as the Tories.

How many people voted for Charlotte on the write-in?

Does the UK have write-ins? A simple yes or no will do and not all this UK-speak about elections that nobody outside the UK has a chance of understanding.

So more Cameron or something worse (more austere) or better (less austere)?

And so now all of Scotland voted for SNP? Is that what I read somewhere? Y'all need to throw those Gibson movies in the "rubbish".

And my advice to the losers: next time, see if you can deflate the ballots a little. Gives you a better grip when penciling in your choice.

I've long been surprised it wasn't being said how disastrous for Labour UKIP could be.

Anti-EU types in both parties but the tory ones were more likely to return to the fold especially as a referendum is promised.

The kind of stuff that would interest Americans and would be reported is how many votes were cast for Charlotte. Surely, someone voted for her if you have write-ins. My guess is she will get at least 100 votes in the next US election. I might even vote for her b/c it's looking pretty dismal here, except for No Chance Bernie!
