FU BAIDS.

Was hoping for SNP/Lab and for Nicola to smash the place up.

Still shy of a majority. Let's see the actuals!!
05-07-2015 , 05:17 PM
the early noise is sounding like it could be even worse for labour if anyhting

I'm so mad right now. They can bury Ed Millipede under his ****ing monolith. Picking a leader who looks like Tim Henman's corpse was clearly a mistake.

No chance of the Lib Dems going for it if this exit poll is correct.

If lib dems form another coalition, they will disappear as a party in 2020.
05-07-2015 , 05:40 PM
tory/lib coalition one time, and today shall forever be known as OSTRICH WINS A BET day

The best part of the Tories winning is an EU referendum.

They might as otherwise they might give up the power to dup and ukip and other oddballs.

Plus how can they defend not doing a deal with the party they did a deal with last time when it has a bigger mandate this time. Forcing another election doesn't look like attractive for them

Winning that referendum will be a great result. About time it was put to bed.

Not sure the price of a tory gov would be worth paying but even so.

Ed Balls to possibly lose his seat

Isn't the population stupid enough to vote us out of the EU?

They're not compelled to form a coalition with anyone. If they don't get the right deal for them they won't do it.

Ominous forecast for the SNP results- how long before we get another referendum

Because the Lib Dems have seen there vote take a massive pounding purely because they have been in coalition with the ****s, if they do so again they will basically be committing suicide.
05-07-2015 , 06:18 PM
LostOstrich backed it which is more pertinent

Almost certainly not. All major parties will be on the 'in' side as well.

For the 10 MPs (which are all that matter) it would be a great deal for them.

Maybe I'm too cynical.

Well they didn't run on it for this election. But I'd suspect if they have an excellent night they may consider running on it for the next Scottish Election next year. If they won an overwhelming majority then there would probably have to be another one. They may be more prudent to wait for an election or two though, if they lost twice it really would be bad.

Lib dem numbers in the seats so far are utterly pathetic.
05-07-2015 , 06:31 PM
UKIP's total votes / seats won ratio is going to be absurd. And when compared to that of SNP, there are going to be some angry bigots tomorrow.
05-07-2015 , 06:32 PM
Let's be honest. Everyone thought the Lib Dems vote share in 2010 was a one time thing. Clegg got to be Deputy. They got some other cabinet post and got to weigh in on policies every now and then. I mean, what more did voters for the Lib Dems expect?? Being a small apart of the coalition was better than being completely ignored.

Maybe I'm totally wrong but that's just what I seem to see from 4,500 miles away.
