Only the truly blind can't see this as yet another set up. The BBC's Andrew Marr asks a loaded, hypothetical question which is only relevant in the event of a pending nuclear holocaust, which then becomes the top headline on the... yes, BBC news. Then some military chief comes on talking s*** about the only candidate who actually stands a chance of making the country SAFER by pursuing peaceful agreements and undoing the damage caused by successive Tory and New Labour Governments as they cling to the US President's arse cheeks.
Absolute BS, of course they're going to clarify, there is an ongoing debate inside Labour over nuclear weapons, which is relevant to contemporary global politics. But instead let's just have a tribalist finger pointing exercise posing a pointless question which nobody really understands the context of (which would be in the event of nuclear bombs going off all over the world so it really wouldn't matter what the answer is since we'd all be dead.)
