Thanks for that insight into the extremely sinister mentality of the entryist Momentum movement and all who serve and support it.

Yes. You're missing the bits where many people killed themselves after the 2010 disability benefit cuts, as a direct result of those cuts. Or just died of cold.
Surprised I'm having to explain this to a supposed Labour supporter.

Where did I claim to be a Labour supporter?

Have not seen the BBC use the word destroy in a headline in relation to this story.

It was a statement of fact. Momentum exist primarily to support Corbyn. Corbyn is in charge of the party.

I'm not sure how old people on this forum are, but I feel it necessary to explain that Labour has not been a Blairite party for most of its history. It has been Blairite only since Blair.

The party was around for the best part of a century before that. The only faction that could be described as entryist is the Blairite faction. They are the ones trying to stab an elected leader in the back and prevent the membership from voting.

An assumption based on your concern for Labour under Corbyn and your dislike of the SNP. If you are indeed closer to the Lib Dems (or Conservative) that would make some sense also.
In any case, the point GBV made was quite clear, I think anybody with a bit of common decency would see that.

So by implication, if this was the headline that would be unbalanced and false right? I'm telling you that was the headline midday yesterday.

Only depends on whether he said destroy in any of his comments, I have not seen all his original comments.

If he used that term then It would be fairly standard for it to turn up in the headline. It would if a fairly relevant Tory used that term to describe a plot, which is the yardstick you have to use for bias.

However I looked at the BBC pretty much the moment you made your post on the topic and could not find any headline with destroy in it. I did see it mentioned in the copy though, so its possible he used that term.

Sky News poll makes interesting reading. Can't say I'm surprised by it though.

Re: UK Politarding Thread

it would be hard for the uk government to seem any more pathetic than it does it this story http://foreignpolicy.com/2017/03/21/...ampaign=buffer

great job putting yourself in a situation where you feel you have to suck up to some of dumbest, most gross people on earth instead of sticking to just a few of your principles.

There is only one principle when it comes to UK foreign policy - get up the President's backside and stay there, in this case there was some confusion over who the President actually was.
The other point is the question of when will Israel actually take any notice of countless UN resolutions denouncing it's illegal actions?

It is the Labour party. It represents the interests of Labour.

People who did not represent the interests of Labour were thrown out. It is a very simple issue.

The SNP are a cynical nationalist group little interested in anything but attaining power, but on this issue they have a mandate in Holyrood and a major constitutional change which adds credence to their call for a referendum.

Police officer stabbed and shots fired outside UK Parliament

Reports mixed at the moment as to the exact nature of the incident, people may have been mown down by car on Westminster Bridge. Not clear who fired shots, police or terrorist / maniac.

Possible reports of other incidents within Westminster. Hopefully not and this is just general confusion.

They don't have a mandate. They require the support of the Greens who's manifesto didn't promise support for another referendum. That's why their leader, Patrick Harvie, is getting so much heat. He's pretty much seen as a nationalist lapdog.

They got 63% of the vote. That's way more than Trump, Brexit or the conservative party (whose leader isn't elected any way). Whether you or I like it or not.

I kind of feel like the Scots should be either be mandatorily forced out if they keep voting SNP. Voting to stay in the Union but voting for a governing party that wants to leave is just perverse.
