Yes, you are over-reacting, as usual.

So this is the nit you choose to pick about our new Orange Overlord? That he chooses to live in his own sumptuous home sometimes? Imagine that!

And his 10 year old might want to have a normal life staying in his own school? Selfish bastard!

You guys are unbelievable.....

Has any other President not committed to being in the Capitol that he is the leader of for any significant portion of their presidency?

R U serious????

Bush spent weeks at a time at his ranch in Texas

Reagan spent weeks at a time Rancho del Cielo his western white house

Nixon spent weeks at a time in his home in San Clemente.

Of course... these guys made their money BEFORE they became president, not afterward while selling influence and being on the grift.....

“The traffic is being engineered,” a former top NYPD official told The Post, explaining a long-term plan that began under Mayor Mike Bloomberg and hasn’t slowed with Mayor de Blasio.

“The city streets are being engineered to create traffic congestion, to slow traffic down, to favor bikers and pedestrians,” the former official said.

“There’s a reduction in capacity through the introduction of bike lanes and streets and lanes being closed down.”
Man.... Trump even has DeBlasio under his thumb.

LMFAO!

Maybe Chris Christie will get the NYC transportation chief position?

Trump Tower at least has a helipad that Marine 1 can use, right? Anyone remember that from The Apprentice? Obama screws up Chicago traffic less than Biden because they have to close expressways for the VPs motorcade.

Won't the Oval Office be under repair next year? Yes he has reported that he will be moving to the White House but the family will be staying till the end of the school year.

Without access to the Oval Office, why wouldn't he prefer to use the office he has for years to conduct business?

its an outrage that the president may spend time hundreds of miles from the capital. That is a two day carriage ride!

we should at least wait until travel and communication can be done more efficiently before we allow such isolation from the government.

I hadn't heard that the Oval was going to be out of commission for a year, and the first result I found on google was to a Daily Mail article that quoted Karl Rove, so let's just call me skeptical about the extent of the renovations...

But, even assuming that it is true, the idea that the renovations are sufficient justification for spending millions of dollars of taxpayer money and regularly jamming traffic and generally disrupting activities in New York City just so Trump gets to use his favorite desk instead of using an office next door in the OEOB like basically ever other President has done when the Oval was undergoing renovations is rediculous.

This is a pretty sick move by Trump you think he would have decency to stay at a Holiday Inn Express near the beltway until inauguration..

Don't be ridiculous, the only reason that would happen is if he owned the hotel and could make the press corp, SS, and rest of his staff stay there too.

It's more credible of an info source than your President and Press Secretary. Considering they think Frederick Douglass walks amongst us.
