Just to spell it out, people are using MAGA as a scapegoat for mayhem because, guess what, it's totally ****ing believable! What with the eagerness for some LOL I don't think the trumpers thought it through. (Duh?)

There was the earlier case of the young black man involved in custody drama who vandalized the car, and nobody really questioned it until he was caught. He didn't say, "Damn I need to pin this on somebody... What should I write, what should I write... 'Greenpeace Was Here Bitches'? Nah, um... 'Don't F--k With The Amish'? No, that's dumb... Wait, I got it, something about trump!" The dude probably didn't have a long list of potential scapegoats.

As with all trumpers and thing trumpian, the joke's on them, even though we're all gonna die.

One thing to keep in mind in regards to the cries about McCarthyism is that there were actually Russian spies and sympathetic people did give Russia nuclear secrets in the 40s and 50s.

The proper response was not to start bringing film directors and history professors before congress, but doing nothing wouldn't have been right either.

It's the same thing that happened in the dark ages. Things were progressing at an incredible clip, the Christians came in and put the fear of God into everyone, and rolled back progress so far it took almost 1000 years to recover.

The same ****ing thing is on our doorstep.

My first thought was that China would pull way ahead again like 1000-1500 or so, but civilization anywhere is a dog to survive another dark age.

We went to Nice a few weeks after the attack last year but the thought of being interrogated by Trump's border people is quite a deterrent.

I've just said to the wife that when Trump et al are gone we'll celebrate with a holiday in NY.

I actually think WAAF probably, but it's good to try to keep buoyant. I've read The Road so I know we only need a shopping trolley and a bit of luck.

I've seen trucks driving through seattle with several flags flying. Highly unusual I thought for such a blue state. Black and white with thin blue line US flag for one, which I didn't realize what it was at first. A photograph of Ramirez’s original statement read, "I came in and the officers said I have gang affiliation with gangs so I wear an orange uniform." Lawyers say the document was altered to read, "I have gang affiliation with gangs so I wear an orange uniform." We’ll have more on the case of Daniel Ramirez Medina and Thursday’s "Day Without Immigrants" after headlines.
