There must be many single people in America who feel just as strongly about this but have no reason to live, eg they have a terminal disease, and are probably considering what to do.

This is kinda my spot. Single, no kids, parents are in good health and financially stable. My job is nothing so important that one of hundreds of people couldn't be hired to replace me. My city seems like it is going to be a hotbed of (un)civil disobedience, especially wrt sanctuary cities.

I've been spending a lot of time since the election debating under what circumstances I would take some really life-risking actions. I haven't come up with great answers yet. Frankly, I'm still in a bit of disbelief that I even have to consider these questions. But I think the only chance of being prepared to act if the need arises is to have considered the question in advance.
