What this contest revealed, above all else, is not your "knowledge of politics" but your degree of partisanship. Those (like me) who are highly partisan tended to blow "obvious" answers. An example: The question "Name an individual Trump has mentioned in his tweets." For anybody who watches the Fox News Channel (I don't), the answer to that question was glaringly obvious: Hillary Clinton. Me, being the political genius that I am, scored an Ace by naming Mika Brzezinski. Mika seemed perfectly obvious to me since I watch "Morning Joe" nearly every morning. I was especially tuned in when Trump attacked Mika for "bleeding from the nose" due to a recent face job, so I naturally assumed everyone would pick MB as the "obvious" answer. Wrong! Since I hardly ever watch FNC, I didn't pick up on the fact that those folks obsess about Hillary nearly every day ...
Of course, this dynamic works both ways. Conservative partisans who watch the Fox News Channel and never watch MSNBC or CNN, probably Aced some "obvious" answers as well. (I suspect the "spineless" question tripped up a bunch of folks.) Come to think of it, I think I Aced that one as well ...
I must tip my hat to MrWookie. Coming up with a contest like this was pure genius. I can't wait for the next one. (Hopefully I'll finish higher than 39th place - or wherever I ended up ...)
