This has me shook, because I thought Glen Beck was a nightmare.
Glenn Beck worked to mainstream the same anti-Semitic conspiracy theories Bannon is now pushing a decade ago.

This transition is going exactly as one might expect. I hope (but don't expect) that the rumored people are leaking their own names and they don't come to fruition.

Nothing like the tag "black crime".

How is this not a thing in every story written about the creep?

Evidently Mike Rogers was kicked off the transition team only in part for his relationship to Christie. The other part of the story? His Congressional committee more or less exonerated Clinton for Benghazi.

Carson doesn't think he's qualified to run HHS, but thought he was plenty qualified to be president? He doesn't grasp that he was no more qualified to be president than Trump was to be a brain surgeon. LOL...these guys.

Bannon is a very, very dirty and sinister person who essentially owns his own right-wing media platform, and he is very smart and clever. Like, for example, its a LOCK that he already has a stack of blackmail on Trump and most of his staff, god knows it wouldn't be hard to find. You may be right that they might try to push him out, but it won't be done easily.

Edit: And Trump knows this and probably loves having him on his side. And def prefers having him on his side rather than opposing him.

Sounds like Kris Kobach is AG?

I googled and he seems like a deportation Nazi, but can't find out much else.

Not sure if better or worse than Bolton

Rand says he votes no on Rudy or Bolton for SoS, if so they're DOA.

Pretty sure I'd prefer Ramsay Bolton.

Why do you say that? It seems like nobody gives a **** what Rand Paul thinks or says.

Much better.

Under W there were essentially two factions re: foreign affairs: Cheney/Bolton and Rice/Powell. Bolton made Cheney look like a reasonable, tolerant human being. Bolton wants to implement democracy in every country in the world via force and have the U.S. rule over all of them. I'm not exaggerating at all and being 100% serious.

There will be 51 Republican senators and the SoS nominee would have to be confirmed by the Senate. Assuming Democrats can actually do their job, that means 2 GOP senators could block Trump's crazier nominees (could 1 do it or does Pence break the tie?).

Rand's on the Foreign Relations Committee which will be 10-9 GOP in this session, assuming all Dems vote against then anyone he opposes is DOA.

Thanks for the comic relief. I'm going to steal this one.

Rudy for SoS is insane to me - the guy's major experience is running a city and has close to zero (if not zero) foreign policy experience. Plus he'll bring up 9/11 in every conversation.
11-15-2016 , 05:57 PM
And he's unhinged

I have no idea how reliable this sort of report would be, but it makes me laugh anyway. IMO the ideal scenario here is pretty much exactly that - Trump gets overwhelmed with what he has to do and tries to delegate the entire presidency.

I don't know what a sop is. I knew Brannon personally from working closely with him for 10 years a long time ago. I will say he is easily one of the smartest, well spoken and hardest working people I have ever met. And fwiw, I never heard anything even faintly racist out of him.

Who knows if he will be gone in less than a year. Given turnover in a position like that, it might be a safe bet

We really missed an opportunity here.

Might be the best thing libertarianism has ever done for the country.

So who would Rand approve of? I heard Corker wants the job and he seems Bush 43 bad, not Trump bad. I could live with it.
