Re: The Tragic Death of Trayvon Martin

Look, this is all just really really really bad logic.

I'm very familiar with the effects the presence of a drawn gun has on people.

This is all horrible and unrealistic.

I would wager all the money I had that if I could go back in time and put myself in GZ's shoes that night, I walk around the corner with my gun at a low ready and TM covers that 100 yds faster than Michael Johnson in the 96 Olympics.

As its already been asked, why can't you just admit the most logical answer is he was scared at first, as GZ got closer TM saw what a dopey loser he was and decided to confront him, things got physical then he realized at some point after the altercation had begun he had a gun?

That's actually logical.

TM justifiably attacking a MWAG he was afraid of, while very likely legal for him to do, is just so ****ing unrealistic.

I would **** myself. And run away or throw my hands up in the air. I sure as hell wouldn't charge at him and break his nose.

Yet people in this thread have no problem chasing a "suspicious" person into the night instead of waiting for the cops who GZ just got off the phone with. Go figure.

And I'll take that as a yes you'd be scared for your life.

It is not at all clear that is what happened.

Re: The Tragic Death of Trayvon Martin

And of course I would be scared for my life if someone brandished a gun at me. But if you are saying that Zimmerman brandished a gun at Martin and Martin was so scared of the gun he engaged Zimmerman in a fistfight, then you are a crazy person. There is no way that happened.

I'm backed into a corner? wat? Anyone is scary if they are following you in a unfamiliar neighborhood and they you know...have a gun.

Amazing. GZ's testimony is all solid, except this part which IS IMPOSSIBLE.

Why is GZ lying about this bit of info?

What corner? It's an open straight run from where the fight most likely started to the house TM was staying at.

What are you claiming that is impossible about GZ's testimony? I think you are likely just wrong about what GZ has stated.

Assuming it's true that TM went for the gun, the most likely place for that to have occurred is when they are both on the ground.

I have a feeling you don't want to refer to anymore of this person's testimony. It doesn't fit your hypothetical scenario very well.

Re: The Tragic Death of Trayvon Martin

Come on with it if you're going to Prana, c'mon.

Come out and say "Prana's theory of the crime is that Trayvon Martin saw George Zimmerman's gun and attempted a SEAL disarm technique which failed."

Stop trying to beat around the bushes. Did TM know GZ had a gun as he approached him or not in your view?
