Pretty much he was saying Trayvon could have responded calmly and in a docile manner and none of this would have happened. He did mention there's no way to tell if Zimmerman ran up to him and put his hands on him or whatever, but we have no proof of that, so we can't just say that's probably what happened. He didn't say Trayvon should have simply "bitched up" and did what he was told to do, he's simply saying that if Trayvon stopped, complied, and waited for the cops or whatever, we wouldn't be talking about this right now.
