Hoping the good people of Iowa start to put an end to this nonsense. We don't need Putin or Maduro getting a State dinner.

fox is all in for rubio right now. had the luntz focus group where they highlighted for a long time and interviewed the one voter who switched from trump to cruz to rubio. now "Could Rubio pull off IA surprise even if he doesnt win caucus" is the topic.

"Trump not showing for debate hurt him in IA.
If Rubio goes up, he can thank Trump"

These are the quotes. So must be true its on the news.

"Turning to the Democrats now, many are Now Feeling the Bern. Do the students really understand what socialism really is? An important lesson from Greg when we return." Greg would be that "comedian" frat boy guy i think not sure.

The two polls that include the most recent data (not necessarily the most recently released) show clear Rubio-mentum.

I think Rubio may be nearly even money to finish ahead of Cruz now.
02-01-2016 , 06:31 PM
actually i kinda feel rubio for those reasons too. and think it was Cruz who hurt himself in the debate and Rubio benefits. And since Cruz was a close 2nd, Trump also benefits in the IA game.
02-01-2016 , 06:35 PM
and who know a big showing by rubio maybe he can start polling over 11% nationally.

Around what time will we know who wins Iowa?
02-01-2016 , 06:57 PM
i dunno. My TV says they close caucus doors in 2hr 4 mins. Gonna get a nap in imo. i am not sure about what we will know and when, but i feel like we wont know everything for a long time.

Do you have to be at the caucus at a specific time? I assume they aren't open all day, because how does that work..? So, what, you show up at like 7pm, hang out for a few hours and then vote?

Remember FOX News has been wrong most of this campaign so far, they are desperately pumping Rubio as much as they can. Not saying he isn't gaining momentum but to say their slant is helping Rubio maybe counter intuitive.

I have a feeling the gap between Trump & Cruz will be a lot closer than Clinton & Sanders.
02-01-2016 , 07:27 PM
I wonder what would be worse for Trump's equity, a narrow loss to Cruz or a narrow win over an outperforming Rubio? My gut says the latter.
02-01-2016 , 07:32 PM
I dunno about that. W is a W and Trump's whole thing is he is a winner that doesn't lose because he crushes the comp. Coming in 2nd would be like a undefeated boxer getting cut for the 1st time.

My instincts have been proven to be less than reliable.

Would agree. Think Cruz is more worried about finishing behind Rubio, then losing to Trump as well.

Trump keeps rising in Iowa

Have the odds moved in Trump's favor today? What is your time frame for "keeps rising"?

It's not much. Depends on the odds.

It's roughly in line with only being able to win $100
