You're forgetting D.C., which up until the Heller case had simultaneously the most draconian anti-gun laws in the US while also having one of if not the the highest per-capita murder rates in the country.

I was talking to some guy from Austria once and I think they have a similar thing there, but I seem to remember him saying the government comes and inspects your guns/ammo a couple times a year to make sure you don't use them and you have to take mandatory classes yearly or something like that? I think he said any purchase of ammo you ever make is tracked to you based on some number you have to give.

lol if you think that if this guy would have shot the cop first , he would be alive today to stand trial. He would have been shot and killed that night regardless.
