Why won't the media stop calling this a terror plot?

Cause the media is propaganda

Anything muslims do is terrorism. If they park their cars, it's terror parking. If they walk to work, it's terror strutting. If they take a ****, it's a terrorist **** bomb. If they wage a conventional war against another country, it's a terrorist guerrilla strike. With tanks and armies and planes.

Remember those Iranian ships said to be coming to the East Coast of the USA....They are preparing to strike....we need to hit em first and hit em hard.

Is this more like "WMD's in Iraq" and "US ship attacked in international waters of the Gulf of Tonkin?" Or is it more like "USS Pueblo Seized" and "Libyan Hit Squads Operating in US?" Some of these tempests lead to all out war, some of them get settled diplomatically.

I think attacking Iran could be profitable venture for USA. There is a lot of oil there waiting for grabs. I mean you sometimes have to be pragmatic

My read is that everyone played this bumbling Iranian American guy pretty hard, and the rest of the money was never going to come. They were going to use him as collateral to kill the Saudi target, and then not pay and let the "drug dealer" do whatever he was going to do. The Iranian American is probably lucky that it was just an undercover fed.

Poor Iranians, I sympathize with them. Mostly a bunch of everyday people caught in the middle of a governmental/religious dick wagging contest.

It's like that fruit in Florida who wanted to burn those Qur'ans. One act by some radical ******* and millions of people are automatically implicated.

So there is no direct evidence that the Iranian government is involved, just that this Shakuri guy was Arbabsiar's contact in Iran and Shakuri is in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard (that has 125,000 personnel.)

Clearly an act of war. Sanction the **** out of Iran. Get the drones loaded.

Reading the comments section on the CNN articles, is just.. man. It just makes me want to move to Costa Rica and avoid any contact with the internet or news for the rest of my life.

Pretty sad state of affairs when Iranian statements seem more accurate than the rhetoric being thrown around by US politicians.

This is definentely hyping some sort of attack on Iran. Obama can say Iran caused the Recession and is in bed with Wall Street. Those dumb Occupy Wall Street people would probably believe him and the rest of the country will follow

This plot is beyond stupid, to blame the entire country of Iran and create more sanctions is wrong. Why would they just not use their own agents in their version of our CIA??? The media is a really a joke here.

If the US government did want to create some bull**** fake flag scenario, then wouldn't they choose a far more believable plot to accuse Iran of? If you're in a meeting to create a false-flag attack, then would you really be suggesting such a confusing, complicated and far-fetched plot, or would you suggest something much more in keeping with previous Iranian behaviour and policy? There's nearly no way some CIA agent said, I know the best and most believable way to frame them, lets link them to Mexican drug cartels and develop a plan in which they were going to blow up the Saudi Ambassador in Washington. Unless they are on some sick 25th level I know that they know that I know that they know type ****, there is no way that would ever have happened.

From the scant information we have to go on at the moment, the likely answers are (in no order): an independent Iranian plot with little or no link to the regime (maybe someone with some kind of grudge, maybe a dissident looking to spark a clash to help bring down the regime or something), or a rogue element of the IRGC looking to make a power play or use the situation for their own (unknown as yet) ends. This being sanctioned by the regimes leadership seems unlikely (though there are profound internal clashes within the regime at the moment, and a deep sense of insecurity), and it seems even less likely that it is a "flase flag".

I for one am surprised to have had it conclusively proved to me in this thread that the longstanding policy of killing Osama bin Laden, an objective completed by Obama, was nothing but a cynical attempt to buy votes at the next election.
