"Whoever carried out this attack, there is no doubt that it is positive, and should be seen as such," the official said.

Something like the 4th Iranian nuke scientist blown up in recent years.

Honestly, this bothers me a lot more than that court judgment.

And about the US Coast Guard rescuing the Iranian fishermen: I didn't know that the US Coast Guard deployed so far from our shores. Thought besides drug interdiction that the Coasties stayed close to home.

Weren't there a couple of Russian commercial airliners that went down both carrying Iranian scientists a while back? Anyone have links for those stories? IIRC, it was reported in Haeretz.(?)

Article about the second one clearly stated it was the Coast Guard. I was surprised too and was like 'wtf is an Iranian vessel doing in the Gulf' (thinking Gulf of Mexico) which turned into a 'wtf is coast guard doing way over there'

Evidently Coast Guard patrol ships have been deployed with the Navy in the Persian Gulf since 2002. I think they have the ships/boarding capabilities useful in that region.

they have to take out syria (shias) first, the people who will take out syria will be fundamentalist sunnis, like in libya. then have those fundmentalist sunnis transported from libya, syria and egpyt to iraq, where sunnis are already in civil war with the shia's. then somehow get iran to attack iraq.
