It's only "LAWFULL" when the good old US of A does it. If china decided to bomb Taiwanese, Tibetan, or any other "terrorists then the American government would rise up in some serious moral indignation about the inhumanity of the strikes and how China is unlawfully bombing other countries.

America is like the 6th sense now......you see terrorists EVERYWHERE!

This is the problem with the war on terrorism. It's like the war on drugs - unless there is a policy change and the government basically decides to end them, they will never end. Because there are always going to be drugs and people using them, and there are always going to be people that hate the U.S.

You can't really blame them... After all the CIA overthrough the democratically elected govt of Iran and installed the Shah, eventually leading to the Islamic revolution in Iran. At which point we then supported Saddam while still selling weapons to both sides. Of course, we then decided we no longer approved of Saddam after he invaded Kuwait (after we told him we would stay out of it) and so then we had to bring Iraq freedom and democracy after 9/11. All the while we've support some of the most repressive un-Democratic regimes in the region.

I can't for the life of my understand why they have a problem with us.

Yeah, the level of "consent" you're referring to is approximately equivalent to amount of consent local store owners give for "protection services" from the mafia. What is Yemen going to do, refuse and head to their bomb shelters as we leapfrog Yemen to the top of the "#1 Serious and Imminent Threat to America's freedom(!)" list ahead of AAA? Even if you believe that Yemen's consent was genuine and not coherced, do you think it would have stopped us if they had said, "GFY, we ain't helping you with ****." We didn't bother getting permission from Packistan when we went after OBL and AAA was supposedly so much more of a Serious and Imminent threat we didn't even try to indict AAA or physically apprehend him.

That's not what I said. I'm more skeptical of the govt. than the avg person I do believe. I just don't believe in santa claus, fairy tales & outrageous, unsubstantiated, conspiracy theories. Learned all about the loons after 9/11.

'A White House statement said the president expressed U.S. solidarity with Saudi Arabia'

Nice to hear the leaders of the free world express their solidarity with one of the most undemocratic and repressive regime's in the world.

Why does the USA let itself down so badly in its foreign relations? Invade Iraq under the banner of democracy and freedom on one hand while on the other support Saudi Arabia.

How about that doozie the other day where Obama waived a ban on military aid for countries that use child soldiers. Obama 2012!
