My dad got took into the hospital feeling bad then had a heart attack last night (well, really early Friday morning here, timezones and my sleep patter is all screwy). Pretty sure yesterday when i visited him in hospital with my brother and mum is the first time i came to like the realisation of my parents mortality (meh, cant think of a better way to phrase that).

Like I knew they would die cos im not an infant but you also never really come to terms with it until the first time one very nearly does die.

So, yeah, August was pretty ****ty for me all in all. Hopefully September is a huge improvement.

Sorry man. This is another part of fully becoming an adult, and becoming a fully grown adult absolutely sucks. Hope he's doing well.

That's awful dude. I hope everything turns out ok. I cried like a little girl seeing my dad in the hospital near death. Tough times

It's rough Phill, my dad's just recovered from open heart surgery himself.

He's headed back to work Tuesday, played golf with him this afternoon.

It's difficult to do, but you've just got to stay positive.
