Russia 5000 bunkers by 2012 Russia 5000 bunkers by 2012

I didn't want to post this because this scares the crap out of me. This scares me enough to want to move out of Los Angeles asap. The idea of a deterrent is that we will both be destroyed in a nuclear exchange. What stops Russia from sending everyone in bunkers one night and launching their missles at us. Even if we fire back, they will be in bunkers. Obama said he would never use nuclear weapons.

Then that missle goes off of Southern California. The USA has been treating the world like a bunch of *******s for a decade. And it seems they want to go into Iran to keep the military spending up.

I think we need to promise Iran and sign a treaty with them we will never attack them if they remove their nuclear weapons programs.

Live by the sword die by the sword.

Anyone else scared?

The likelihood of greater military conflict grows with each passing month, as industrial nations compete for what's left of the rapidly shrinking natural resources.

It is almost inevitable, at this point, within 5-10 years. It's as inevitable as the conditions of Eurasia were at the beginnings of the 20th Century, before WWI. Mankind will never come together and work as a unit, because it's multi-cultural divide (religions) is incapable of ever doing so.

Can never hurt to purchase some potassium iodide.

Wasn't that missile off the coast debunked?

Lol at being reduced to circa 5000 bunkers being any kind of victory.

Those bunkers amount to the most feable of token efforts in face of a nuclear strike.
11-17-2010 , 09:36 AM
Except those bunkers have been striped of all their metal structural steel. makes them far from not only usable, but habitable.

i'll ignore the direct insult. and just ask, what's crazy about it? please form your opinion of how any part of what i wrote was somehow wrong. Are we not running beyond sustainability as a global economy? Of course we are. The signs of strain are everywhere, in every sector, in every aspect of our daily lives, as well as our baffling foreign policy of 'pre-emption' and hubris. And it ain't gettin' better any time soon. In fact, it's gonna get worse.

As China and India demand more and more of their share, and ours shrinks, what do you THINK is gonna happen? We all hold hands at the UN and find a "peaceful global solution?"

It's time to start being honest with everything we think we know about the next 5-10 years, and start hedging some bets.

I can't decide which of these is a better response.

jiggs, this post is for you.. your opinions are tottaly ok, its really ok for you to have them but... you are too pessimistic. in the same sense that you probably judge everyone else as optimistic/delusional, you put yourself in the complete opposite and thus can find yourself to be 100% wrong just as well

so maybe yeah, hell can happen on earth next year or the other or tomorrow but its not an OBVIOUS thing, nothing can be said to be FACT in the future

and on that matter my personal opinion on this is that the internet is probably gonna save us all

Jiggs shouldn't the economy have totally collapsed and the world launched into total chaos already, according to you? I'm damn near certain you said something like this in 2008 or 2009. Food supply would be disrupted, riots, etc etc. Does it not bother you that none of this happens? You just predict it to happen later. Maybe one day it happens, you'll be all "SEE I TOLD YOU ALL ALONG".

Its not happening right now?

Please link to where I gave a timeline that mentioned anything substantial before 2013-2015. Thanks.

Pretty sure I've stated many times over that it's a slow drawdown into collapse, and we've seen very little to dismiss that roadmap the past 26 months. In fact, the map has proven deadly accurate since 2005-2006 or so, and certainly since the Sept. '08 crash.

What are you talking about? You're following what's going on in the world, right? Does the conditions in Europe lately give any cause for alarm? Japan? Are red lights not flashing every week regarding potential trade war? The weening off of the dollar as the global oil trade currency? Is news like this innocuous?

Putin Extends Ban on Russian Grain Exports

This all doesn't happen overnight, ... but make no mistake, it IS starting to happen.

Maybe you all look the same to me. You seem to agree with OP here though. I suppose you have 40 days or so to be right!

thats so standard. the more things change, the more they stay the same

If enough people for 5000 bunkers are actually moved into them one night, we will know hours before the missile strikes. Cue videos of people moving into bunkers somewhere in Russia and a preemptive strike by the USA!!!
