RP gonna be running-mate imo.

Then if that ticket accidentally wins they can stage an assassination and blame it on a crazy libertarian and let Ron Paul be at the wheel when everything sinks.

Re: Ron Paul 2012 Containment Thread

Paul with Kucinich/Nader/Grayson/non-corrupt Democrat on an independent ticket.

Stop the wars, end the Fed, bring Wall Street to justice, end the drug war, and sure, spend some of the resulting gains on healthcare and welfare if that's what it takes to get elected and get all the others accomplished. Still a big net gain from the libertarian perspective and they'd be a force to be reckoned with. Compromise ftw.

Re: Ron Paul 2012 Containment Thread

Ron Paul / Denis Kucinich would be such a sick bi-partisan ticket

I'd really, really get behind that, Kucinich is probably my favorite Democrat behind Mike Gravel

edit: though I think Gravel left the Democratic party iirc

Is Gary Johnson gonna hurt him? Sure seems like it, but really who cares as neither has a chance.

Re: Ron Paul 2012 Containment Thread

I love Ron Paul, and hope his Presidential campaign gets the message of liberty out there, but other than ending all our retarded wars, he'd be a disaster of a President if he tried to stick strictly to his platform, and there's no reason to think he wouldn't. Congress can barely pass a budget as it is, does anyone really want a President who vetoes and tries to destroy EVERYTHING not specifically authorized by the Constitution?

If there was a candidate who's entire platform was "I promise to veto every bill congress passes" I would vote for him
