I'd like to see that exchange. Ikes usually ended up floundering when he came at fly. Lot of lols. Then he'd say "lol no", regroup, lick his wounds, and carry on seemingly oblivious to how he was perceived.

I remember one where some real life info got brought up, and things got really personal.

Fly and ikes both routinely get away with some truly ugly personal attacks. Less personal info you disclose around these parts, the better.

Ahh ok. Ikesdad was seriously sick (cancer?) and fly came at ikes and ikesdad because they disliked universal healthcare? Or something. Not one of Fly's better moments iirc. Although I think ikes lied about what fly said (or meant) while fly was banned. Either way, it's just bad policy to talk **** about parents dying of cancer.

Yes? If my being on the 'losing' side prevented me from enjoying my time ITF I'd have left a long time ago. Cool kids rarely see things my way around here.

If the personal info you disclose (including unwittingly obv) makes you seem like a fool/idiot/dbag, then ya, it'll probably be brought up. Other than fly and a few others, I always found most regs pretty good at keeping things above the belt.

Someone should power rank Ikes rivalries in terms of entertainment factor over the years. Ikes v phil, ikes v fly, ikes v goofy, etc. Fwiw, I always got the feeling Ikes/Goofy didn't have any personal dislike as much as they are just diametrically opposed in beliefs, compared to like ikes v fly, where it always seemed personal. Could be wrong though.

Ikes vs GREAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR in the Michigan Football thread went on for years and was incredibly painful to read. Greear would insult ikes for parroting positions from a prominent Michigan blog. Ikes would insult Greear for banging strippers and having a bunch of kids. It was as pleasant as it sounds.
