There's no reason to say he served with 'honor and distinction'. Say something along the lines of we don't leave any man behind, don't make up bull**** about the guy.

Obama should be impeached for his derelict LAW BREAKING, which is the release of prisoners held without trial on a remote island outpost for a decade without proper due process.

It was a bit unwise to say that. While his record shows he's served with honor and distinction so far, that might change. It's probably why yesterday Obama didn't mention honor and distinction just the duty to leave no man behind.

ikes is right here. Somebody in Rice's position, and with her recent experience, should probably avoid boilerplate platitudes, if for no other reason that she's got rabid attack dogs going after her 27/7.

The administration wanted to spin this as a big win. They would have been better served in skipping the rose garden ceremony and the victory lap. Probably should have at least notified Diane. Her butthurt about the administration breaking the law gives more credence to the more shrill GOP spin.

Holy **** the derpage on this one is incredible even by idiot right wing media standards. Drudge has like a whole separate banner section filled with derp!

"My son died looking for a traitor"
"Afghan villagers: soldier deliberately headed for Taliban strongholds"

etc.

The psychology of right-wingers is both fascinating and terrifying.

It isn't just chief planet.

Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger, the top-ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, calls this a “dangerous precedent that puts all Americans at risk throughout the world.”

Not my position who knows how risky this is but in general I think the government oversells the danger. It makes sense in a way, it gives them cover if/when anything bad happens in the world.

It's not often you get the perfect storm of derp like those twitter feeds. Pure gold.

And lest you think it's just picking on random Twitter morons. The base is the elite, the elite is the base, the derp is total.

And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed – if all records told the same tale – then the lie passed into history and became truth. "Who controls the past," ran the Party slogan, "controls the future: who controls the present controls the past." And yet the past, though of its nature alterable, never had been altered. Whatever was true now was true from everlasting to everlasting. It was quite simple. All that was needed was an unending series of victories over your own memory. "Reality control," they called it: in Newspeak, "doublethink."

That **** don't play here in Freedomland homey. We have no idea what happened in the past and are barely aware of the present.

Yeah at some point we transition from "LOOOOOOL" to "man, this **** is really ****ing depressing."

I'm pretty sure that one is ironic. That guy is one of the two resident liberal mega-posters. His previous avatar was Christie in an animated moment.
