No. Your hypothesis numbers would change is the assumption. The numbers point to Clinton winning in a pure democracy.

Keep on being an intellectually dishonest and/or devoid individual if you want. I don't care. But nobody but Trump loyalists will look at your argument and take you seriously.

You are butthurt because people are protesting against your piss loving, white nationalist supported, puppet of Putin.

Re: The Resistance: Actvism, protests and more!

For the record I could not care less if people protest, I have a problem with them blocking highways and stuff like that.

I thought the tea party protests were idiotic, same with the occupy movement.

As far as I'm concerned it stops being a protest and trends towards a riot once you start blocking roads that aren't already closed for your protests.

That's not how it works here in the USA. Our rights to assemble and speak aren't contingent upon getting prior permissions. You got things ass-backwards. The cops, when they are doing their job right, block off streets to motorized vehicles because we are assembling and speaking... which we have the right to do 24/365, at our whim. Us USAians don't need no stinkin' permits.

You do realize that we are talking protests here in the good ole USA, not from whatever hell hole you are from?

Straight from the ACLU

http://aclu-or.org/content/your-right-protest

If you endanger others while protesting, you can be arrested. A protest that blocks vehicular or pedestrian traffic is illegal without a permit.

who would have guessed that shushy would be ignorant (or try to lie) about auch recent history as the Tea Party? The Tea Party started almost the moment Obama was sworn in (but thank god they waited until he took the oath to start or sushy would need his smelling salts).

If people like you are scared, inconvenienced and/or irritated then the protests are working.

Blocking traffic is a crime without a permit.
Here's the ACLU link:
https://www.aclu.org/sites/default/f...r_protests.pdf

While I do believe the campaigns would be ran differently if it was decided based on popular vote instead of electoral vote, I don't think Trump could have overcome his 2% margin of defeat in the popular vote.

There is an implied "completely" between "that" and "blocks". Also, streets are public forums first most. Even those open to vehicular traffic aren't carways (unlike freeways which are carways, not streets, nor public forums). The 1stA trumps the vehicle code.

On a street open to vehicular traffic, if there is enough room for an assembly on the sidewalks, then you can be asked to stay out of the traffic lanes. If the assembly is too big to fit on the sidewalks, then the cops should, and usually will, close off some traffic lanes. If it is too big for any of the traffic lanes to remain open, and there is an alternate routing around the assembly, then the entire street will be closed to vehicles.

Also, people can assemble for other reasons than protest. Go goggle VJ day. That was the end of a war long ago where us brave USAians most likely conquered or liberated whatever hell hole you are from. What happened way back then?

Well, peeps poured out onto the streets to celebrate. The cops closed off streets to vehicular traffic to facilitate those peeps exercising their rights to assemble and speak. The more people that poured out onto the streets, the more streets the cops closed to vehicles. There were no permits. Us USAians don't need no stinkin' permits.

How bitter do you get when your local soccer team wins the world cup or whatever, and all your foreign furry feetball friends pour out on the streets to celebrate... causing inconvenience to peeps like you, who have a job, bills to pay, while generally not paying respect for other people's time ??

Two, tough luck if you come here to visit our good ole USA. That's because the Constitution doesn't say we have the right to assemble and speak... unless it might annoy or inconvenience some random peep visiting from overseas.

Surprised you haven't figured out I've been talking about freeways and highways since I've mentioned it specifically a few times. I commute 40 miles each way, from what I have read protesters are planning on trying to block the freeway at multiple points.

That is my issue.

Highways aren't always freeways. The word you are searching for is actually "carway". Some right-of-ways are legally streets, which are public forums. Often, but not always, streets are open to cars. Some right-of-ways are legally carways, which are closed to pedestrians, and are not public forums. Freeways are always carways. Some highways are streets, while some are carways.

Many of the protesters strongly support workers' rights like paid personal days. We're trying to help you not be a wage slave bro.

Let me be specific then, the way I get to work is 35 miles of caraway then 5 miles of streets into downtown Seattle.

There are multiple protests planned in the area I work, fine I can work my way around that.

If they succeed in blocking the carway like they are calling for, I along with many others will be screwed.

Edit:

It already takes me damn near two hours each way with normal traffic.

If you can't make it to Washington, D.C. on inauguration day to protest Trump's presidency, you can still fight for the cause by helping to take down WhiteHouse.gov as a show of solidarity for the lives impacted by Trump’s policy agenda. It’s simple, by overloading the site with visitors we will be able to demonstrate the will of the American people. Here's how.

There are two ways to participate. You can manually go to www.whitehouse.gov on inauguration day, January 20, 2017 and refresh the page as often as you can throughout the day or you can use the instructions below to automatically reload the page.

When you are finished come back here and check in so the organizers can track the progress.

When enough people occupy www.whitehouse.gov the site will go down. Please join us and stand up against this demagogue who is threatening our democracy and our security.

I don't know what to tell you. Life sucks sometimes. Plan ahead, safety first, try not to stress.

Let's see... I live at the beach in SoCal. There is only one road, and so two ways in/out of the hood. There is very limited street parking, not enough for us locals. Back when peeps went to the beach, this was the drill every Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, Labor Day weekend, and any summer weekend when it'd hit 100+ in the Cajon-zone:

The cops closed one side of the street, including half the street parking, making the only road one way, and reducing us to only one way in. Then about ~500k of our inland friends would drive on in that way to spend the day with us ~50k locals, then all drive out the other way afterwards.

Bottom line: +2-4 hours getting out, +6-8 hours getting in, and if you didn't have private parking... better find a friend out of the 'hood to crash with for the duration.

About your commute... bwahahahaha whining about it. Only 40 miles? That ain't shiz. That's considered an easy commute around here. Hell, I used to work in LA's San Fernando Valley (~145 mi) when the above beach closures happened.

Seriously, call in sick. Change shifts. Treat yourself to a staycation in Seattle. Come in early. Treat yourself to a scenic drive via another route. Take the Sounder that day. Put your bike in your car, ride in the last few miles in. Play hookie. Suck it up, it might not even happen. WTF do you do when the freeway is closed by an accident, or weather, or construction, or POTUS is visiting... do that.

Or, if you just wanna be bitter for the sake of being bitter, and you happened to be inconvenienced around the Seattle Center on 1999-11-30... you can blame me personally.
