Well since it is not possible to go back and change time, I think focus should be on getting back in control as soon as possible, unfortunately best case scenario is gaining control of either congress or senate in 2018 just to be able to block bills, and 2020 or later to have a majority again. That is called thinking strategically. Protesting is not going to change any immediate policy changes of those who just won an election.
Don't get me wrong, the women's march was really impressive and I think should be a great rallying moment to focus on winning a house in 2018, because that is the most important thing that democrats can do. People still need to be realistic and realize they cannot just get a do-over on the results of a recent election. The party is continuing to make the same mistakes and not changing and some serious changes are needed from within the party as well if they want to compete as soon as 2018. If the only focus is on protesting republicans are only going to keep gaining more ground, as they have already won over 1,000 seats in state assemblies nationwide over the last 8 years as well. If they win a control of a couple more state governments they will be be able to start making constitutional amendments. Focus on stopping that.
Anyways, protesting against the DNC leaders and replacing every super-delegate or abolishing them completely is what I would like to do as I feel that is most effective way to make change going forward. If they had allowed around 10 democrats to run in the primaries and let the best person win (like Biden) we wouldn't be in this mess right now. Strategically I think that is the best long-term option, obviously I don't expect a lot of support as the party loves to blame others and never accept personal responsibility.
